On June 05 my dumb ass put them in the big ass pot instead of a solo cup. I wanted to see why for one and two we were out of solo cups at the moment…….Technically this grow had five seeds planted , four survived. The one that did not I attribute that to me trying too hard…. I.e. quit thinking it needs water, your going to drown the fucker more likely…. Out of the four that survived one had the shell of the seed stuck on and I could not get it off easily. That plant started out this grow considerably behind, my name for it was the runt plant. Also for this grow I used that tree as a “control”. Why? I have no clue what the fuck I’m doing and this tree was behind in growth and I assumed topping the other three a couple times would add considerably to their grow schedules and maybe the last would catch up. Which brings me to what I’m doing. Mainlining ? From what I can read? Maybe a touch of scrog if I can find something that makes sense to me?

Nothing major june 18th are pics, basically the first couple of weeks the plants have been a bit on autopilot and my main issues have been environmental and controlling that etc. so to explain that…… temp in the house is 67 which is great when the lights are on but when they are off I needed a heater to help maintain temp in the tent above 74ish. I will say after I figured out (it was not that hard if you stop and read…..) how to set up the ac infinity tent with blower and temp controller etc…. I have the 5x5 tent and got the 10 inch blower as for flowering I wanted to see if I could pack it with lighting which I then wanted to be able to handle that excess heat quickly etc….. with all of that being said I finally got the tent dialed in to around 77+/- 3 degrees during day and about 72 at night.

So this week 4 was June 24th and it was a bit of trial by fire. Let me explain… I travel occasionally for work so I have attempted to make this entire set up as automated as possible. The kind grow lights married with the tent / air handling system have been great so far but with this it needed to be stable enough for two weeks that all someone had to do was water. Watering at this stage was hand pump in a two gallon container so that was a pain in the ass as well. Anyway for this and next the plants did great.

Big week for me as with the three trees I am mainlining them and I need to top them. Topped at 3rd node , stripped all material below etc. water , fox farm feeding schedule, and sit back. Tried not to worry that I just killed the plants but that’s why we have the fourth “control” tree….

Vacation this time so only one pic for week for July 18th. Automated watering from the hand pump jug to a pressurized container. Solution at 15psi takes 10 mins to use, need to use roughly six gallons total for each watering so far. The lighting, temp, have been stable and no issues.

Big week , topped for third time. Before and after pics , everything is coming in quite well but…. I have noticed that I have a phosphorus deficiency from the indications of the lower fan leaves. Making sure ph probe is calibrated etc.

Switched to our 12 hour photo period. Programmed the new light schedule. So… lesson learned , I set it up from 8 am to 8pm. I have no issue with heat, the issue that I didn’t think of is , I have a damn job and a real life and by compressing this in that daily schedule I just added copious amount of stress to my daily life. This shit better be the best fucking bud ever. Hmm I need to step up my game to make that happen.

So this is where I’m confused. Backstory is I topped and mainlined 3 of the trees and one is a “control” tree just to see what happens. So I got the canopy relatively even, for the main lines trees I have 8 mains that were LST to get in the shape that they are. So where I am confused is the lower colas? Coming in on each of the 8 mainlined trees, am I attempting to keep those same height as the main cola? Pic in this week pointing out for reference. Or do we just step back from here , keep the mains relatively the same and just let it grow? I planned on a defoliation early next week for the lower part of the plant etc. Below from 6th. Not much going on with the plants other than weaving and tucking for the scrog and just keeping them happy. Second pic is the start of the watering system I’m trying to set up, six inch watering rings with lines ran out to a 2 gallon tank. So far for the four plants I have needed to use six gallons of water but I notice there is a bit less in my collection trays. I need to watch this and maybe need to prep a fourth two gallon tank to make sure they have enough. Watering also moved up a day, feeding was every Mon/Thurs , now it is Sun/Wed. last week I noticed by Monday all of the plants leaves were dropping a bit, the indicator tree so far is what was the runt tree, it appears to be pulling slightly more water (it is massive by now with how much it is bent over and Scrooge’s through the net.) so I have been keeping an eye on her as that indicator for watering.

Quite a bit of stress as I get to travel for work for two weeks and a helping hand is taking over watering and some of the other minor tasks. I think the only “issue” is some of the lower fan leaves especially on the big tree ( largest and fastest to grow since seed ) have what looks like it may have phosphorus deficiency, I am using the fox farms nutrient schedule at half dosage as recommended, beastie bloomz was introduced this week which has a higher p value. Last week with the open sesame I gave a heaping 1/4 teaspoon per 2 gallon and I did notice a dif later last week with the older leaf frequency to show signs. What fun….. The lights, humidity, temp and everything else is automated so this is going to be quite the stress test. Very bummed as I think they are in that flowering stage but man I don’t know I have never seen it first hand so I am not sure. The growth in the last week has been amazing. Quite a few pics. So over the weekend going in to week 3 of flowering and that was a major defoliation below the screen on Saturday, taught my watering crew how to water and fertilize again and then bid them goodnight for the last time in two weeks on Sunday night. Sooooo… pics below and let’s hope the ladies are happy in two weeks still =]

Was able to get some updated pics! Those little buds are so awesome I can’t wait to see them in person this weekend! As stated last week I have been away and trying to assist remotely, not too bad with the canopy staying as even as it is for the week. Definitely some of the mainlined trees are getting tall. I have to wait almost another week before I am home so I can’t wait to see these little buds!

What a change in two weeks! Pictures do not do it justice. Got home Friday and spent Saturday and Sunday doing the last major defoliation , watered and now it’s sit back and watch these buds fill out over the next four plus weeks.

Not a whole lot other than the plants and nuggets look to be filling out. Was a bit worried about night time humidity and temp in the tent so picked up a dehumidifier which arrives today. Overall though the plants are beautiful. All the leaves are frosty, and everything is just getting fatter every day.

While I thought they were getting big in previous weeks, this week blew me away. Every single morning there was a noticeable difference. Two of the plants are definitely ahead a hit in maturity of buds. All cloudy more or less etc…. The other two are clear/cloudy still. Other noticeable difference is how frosty the sugar leaves are. One of the plants in particular looks like fur from a distance. Flushed when I watered yesterday and basically sitting back , inspecting every day for that amber shift.
