I start this new grow with 4x Dos si Dos , 3x Jack Herer fem, 2x Skunk CBD dream with target of using low fertilizer and medium size plants with old school system. They are in a 6m2 cellar room but I will use only 1.5 m2. I want to improve yeald on Dos si dos because this strain was so good to smoke (see cellar grow 1 diarie)
All seeds germinated well under CFL200W, after 2 days I install them under Metal Halid 400W, only three are not standing up because of humidity/light?The soil is light mix with perlite, I use 25 cl of fertilizer for the week at 1.25ml/L. I need to mention that the room is at 500m from the sea, the Co2 is a little bit lower than normal.
This week the grow is ok , Jack1 and Dos have 3 leaves serie, I just put Metal Halid light at 70 cm because the leaves are small. I use 25 cl of Ferro grow fertilizer once a week at 1.25ml/L
This week the grow is not bad but i think something is not good, stems and leaves are small. I use once a week Ferro grow AB 1.25ml/L every 2 watering, the solution PH is 6.5. Next week i will change pots and use topping on Jack's and CBD dream.
Start of the week 4,
DAY28: I change pots 14 L for Jack, 13L for Dos si Dos, 11L for CBD with light mix, Jack1 and Dos 1 and CBD1 looks normal, the others are very small because i can't stabilize my PH correctly, so i change fertilizer for Canna Terra Vega. For the 9 plants i give water 25cl per day. I use topping on Jack 1 Jack 2 Dos 1 CBD1 at the fifth node. The plants are in their final place, 1 m2 used.
DAY31: topping on all others plants, i use Terra Vega 5ml/L, 3L every 2 days.
Day 42: defoliation and single LST for all plants to get 4 stems each. DOS 3 1 stem broken from topping. The main stems are very thin. I use this week 2 times 3L water with 1.5 ml/L terra vega. The humidity is a bit high because of storm outside. I change light HPS 400W to prepare for next week flo.
Day 44: Plants look better, put them to flowering stage under HPS 400 W
Day 50: the plants structures are better , I increase watering to 4Liter every 2 days and 7ml/L Terra Vega. I install my electronic ballast adjusted to 400W HPS.
I did some defoliation to every plants.
Day 57: all is going well, only DOS 3 is herma it has pollen on every nodes, so I cut it. Others plants are well.
I had extractor burned and change for centrifugal 360 m3/h, . I use 4L every two days with 7ml/L of Terra Vega.
Day 59: DOS 1 and 4 are herma also but not like DOS 3, so I re arrange the room to observe them. I not happy with this seed lot, 4/5 are herma.
Next week if there is pollen again I will cut them.
Jack's are very stable.
DAY 71: no more pollen on DOS si Dos, the plants finsihed the strech, I am surprised about DOS strech, they have about 15 cm between nodes. DOS are from 1m to 1.2m, Jack's and CBD are less than 90 cm. The trichomes appear.
I change fertilizer for 2.5 ml Terra Vega + 2.5 ml Terra Flores + 1.5 ml PK13-14. I give 4 liters every 2 days.
Day 79: All is going well, only CBD 2 has Fan leaves yellowing and Dos 1 leaves go pink. No more pollen, i wish that no one opened. The smell is high with Dos SI DOS, smell of melon.
I feed them with 4 liters every 2 days. I reduce my extractor speed to a minimum of 20% because climat outside begin to be cold.
Day 85: I install carbon filter because smell of Dos si Dos is strong, Dos si Dos pistils are 30% brown and no more buds growing, i think they polenised them selves. Jack's and CBD are still flowering.
I am affraid with humidity that i can't control for next weeks. I use fertilizer 4 Liters every two days.
Day 86: DOS 1 pollen opened !
Day 92: Dos si DOS have 50% pistils brown, Jack and CBD 0%. Jack 1 i have 1 stem broken. The climat is not bad, only humidity very high. I use fertilizer 4 liters every 2 days. Next week i will stop fertilizer for DOS si DOS. Dos is Dos look like snow on buds, Jack's are not at this step yet
Day 100: harvest Dos si Dos after 56 days flowering because I saw 1 seed on one , buds are not big but very hard and smell very fruity. I flush them only 3 days with water.
Jack's and CBD flowering still continu and smell is coming on Jack, i add sticks to stems. I give them 6 liters everys 2 days of fertilizer
Harvest after 56 days,To be perfect i should wait one week more, but thoses three plants was herma and I saw a seed last week. Thoses three provide me 553g wet ,85 g dry
day 106: all is good, climat is not so bad for autumn period, only humidity is a bit high, I use 4 liters with fertilizer every 2 or 3 days, I stop terra Vega.
One Jack have 50% pistils brown without dense bud, i don't know how this strain work, but Im sure that this one got polenised by Dos Si Dos.
For the two others Jacks pistils are full white and calyx grow in size.
CBD 50% brown and bud change colors with more trichomes.
day 112: harvest Jack 3 after 68 days, this one look as pure sativa, picture will come when harvest the two others jacks.
day 116: Remain only two Jacks, the humidity is much better now for the last weeks, I stop terra vega and PK13/14 fertilizer.
Jack 2 need a week more, Jack 1 need more than one week.
day 120: all is fine, Jack 2 is ready to harvest and Jack 1 not, leaves are yellow now. I will cut them together, i don't want to let 600W light for one plant. Jack 1 need maybe 5 days more. I did 4 days water flush.
Harvest total 272g in 1m2 + 60g cuts
I' m very happy with this grow, i got 3 different pheno:
Jack 3 airy bud like pure sativa harvest after 64 days, 41g dry
Jack 2 big buds, smell fruit harvest after 76 days, 54g dry
Jack 1 incredible bud/leaves ratio, was not completely ready to harvest. harvest after 76 days, 49g dry
