My first grow, I intend to report the development from germination to harvest. I accept tips on how to get as much harvest as possible too.
It ended up not germinating before and I put it straight in the vase to see if it will. Am I right or should I try something else?
18/08
- This child showed the first signs of life after the direct transplant into the soil.
- I took advantage of the fact that the soil was dry to make the second watering of the day with 500ml of water + half a dose of fertilizer.
- I'm still going to leave it covered with the plastic water spray cup to keep the humidity higher for now, opening it 1x-2x a day to breathe and wet the glass again.
- I'm glad she decided to step up to the plate.

I did another watering with water and fertilizer, but this plant has some yellow spots, I'm thinking of putting a small watering between waterings with fertilizer to not leave the soil so dry.

Once she sheds her shell you don't want the humidity dome( or to even use one at all).
Your in a large pot so watch out how much you water. a lot will be stored and it will seem dry all be in the soil. Feel the weight to judge when to water.
The yellowing could be minor damage from shedding the shell, to much water and a sign of root issues( 500ml is a lot of water for that little one), to much fertilizer( even at 50% that can be a lot for a small plant. I don't feed until I see the beginning of the third "True" leaves or if I do its only 25% concentration)
Look at the first 2 weeks of this grow to see how little water is needed. ****Ignore fertilizer as it has some in the soil mix to start with.

This is the last week of watering, right after I start preparing for the harvest.

It grew well, I should have made more bindings during the beginning to improve the performance, but I'm satisfied so far. My old led wasn't that high quality, so the performance could be better, but I'm satisfied.
I had a little problem at the end (possibly overfert), but it didn't affect the harvest. I had problems with high humidity until harvest but luckily it didn't develop mold and it worked. I still have 2 seeds and I plan to grow them again in the future.
