Growers use deoliation for 2 reasons.
The first reason is to create airflow when the leaves are laying on top of eachother.
And the second 1 is creating equal light for every budsite and branch. So for example cut a few large leaves on the top that block the sun light for all the leaves below.
Your plants do not need defoliation because you have enough airflow and the sun light can reach all the leaves and budsites.
You can do defoliation when she is 2 weeks into flowering because then you can see what budsites will grow fat buds and whitch ones will not develop enough to be taken serious. This way your plant is fully focussing on the big and fat buds!

What for?
Defoliation is not a necessary "technique" when growing and especially not outdoors.
Just remember....
Less leaves = less energy being made = less growth.
I do suggest you putting something over the top soil, chopped leaves, grass, etc. Not to heat up the roots and to keep the micro climate and water retention . Also not to grow weed around.
