TDAWG1107 I believe I see flowers!! So exciting.
These plants were gifted to me unexpectedly. Didn't plan for a grow this summer but with a new career in the cannabis industry I figured why not try?!
TDAWG1107 Small one looks beautiful! And the monster is still growing!

TDAWG1107 No amber trichomes that I can see yet on the smaller lady. The last two weeks have really picked up some sweet sticky smells!!!
Sept 7 after some reading finally trying night photo shoot. Wow she looks even more amazing!

TDAWG1107 I'm taking pictures every day. Still searching for amber. I'm also taking pictures with my Panasonic Lumix with a macro setting... I believe I found her!!! Wish I could upload those EXTREME closeups but I don't have a laptop. I think harvest time has come for my small lady.
Including more shots of her sister aka The Monster. She's also coming along I guess 4-5
weeks behind my lil lady.
Update on Monster Sept 15th found odd looking yellow spots. Research and talking to a fellow grower.... Leaf Septoria. I am sick for her! Had to very reluctantly and carefully remove all effected leaves. So incredibly aggravating when she's this far into flowering. A great lesson learned the hard way about the importance of soil! (See the last two photos)
As this is my first time growing and I really had no idea what to expect until I researched everything I could at each stage to try and not fuck things up. I'm very hopeful for the end results and anxious to try my buds.
I just purchased a scale woot woot 😃
Update Sept 30. I've smoked a lil nug and I'm very happy with the result. It tastes so clean dare I say how weed used to taste 20 years ago when I first started smoking 😋

TDAWG1107 I'll have to add alot of info after drying and curing. Stay tuned.
Sept 26 All in jars and cannot believe this little plant yielded 80 grams!
Still awaiting a full cure to add more smoking notes
I now have a new profound respect for this amazing botanical wonder!

TDAWG1107 I may have harvested one plant but still have this beauty to go. Had a scary moment with her last week. Found leaf septoria and had to cut off a bunch of leaves with spots on them so far into flowering stage. It was painful!
Please see the last three pictures. Can anyone identify this spider?
Thanks Drewski for the jumping spider identification! He's super cute and I hate spiders. I hope he stays!

TDAWG1107 Help! What's that brown spot on the main cola?? I'm going to do more research on it tonight. Our weather has changed. Very chilly at night and hotter during the day. What should I do?
Update Sept 28. Thanks Drewski for yet another identification of bug issue. This time a caterpillar was making a home in my main cola. Got em dead now!

TDAWG1107 I think harvest for monster has come. Again taking macro photos with my other camera unfortunately cannot upload them. Amber has appeared. Sorry for my tardiness on posting. Has to battle more caterpillars this week. They nearly ruined my entire plant!
The yellowing in the 4th pic is fine TDawg! When the lower leaves are yellowing on the bottom just let them fall off. the top buds are just sucking the nutrients from the leaves which is fine! chopping them would just stunt the bud growth! Looking good though! keep at it!
@Nomad, Thank you! Now that I know what joy growing brings I feel the same. Not the "scraggly old man" part lol... but my new dream would be to live on a cannabis farm!!
@TDAWG1107, I presume that your plants are either Sativas or Sativa - dominant Hybrids. You can see that by their leaves. Their leaves are long, thin, narrow, and light in color with 9 "tops" each. Otherwise, you'll understand this either from the cured bud or by smoking them buds. If you're extremely energetic and can't stop moving (even if you try to stop), then your plants are Sativas or Sativa - dominant Hybrids.
If there isn't this extreme energy, then you have Sativa - dominant Hybrids.
@TDAWG1107 that looks like bud rot, aka 'Botrytis cinerea'. Can be caused from your low temps, not enough air movement, and moisture (like rain or dew) on the buds. Check this link for what to do (if it is bud rot). https://www.growweedeasy.com/bud-rot
