I have these crosses from some Chiquita Banana from Weed seeds express that got close and personal to some of their sunset sherberts and the resulting seeds made a rather tasty cross. Last time I grew these I had no space so for testing put we flowered them on 3l pots which gave less buds then she has the potential to give.
This round gonna continue testing with a pair of phenos. Last harvest of these was so tasty I'm curious to see what they can do..
Beans have lived in fridge for last year and a bit . They were taken out and left in a glass of 23c water with some humic acid for 12hrs. After this I placed them into damp paper towels which were placed in a dark space at 25c and kept damp with the bean soaking mixture.
As fter 12 hrs they had made tap roots and I moved them into Coco nursing pots with a spoon of Green Buzz living organics which is washed into the substrate with a solution of water humic acid and more roots.
It was a nice easy germination week. Seeds from fridge to 2 inch shoot was about 44 hours.
They got a bit stretchy for me so I increased dli from 11 to around 18. This stopped the stretch and they appear to be nice and healthy for now.
Not much to say I'm afraid. Awaiting my greenbuzz nutes all is well.

I'm away working for 2 weeks so my wife has been caring for the girls. The next 2 weeks updates will be fairly poor I'm afraid. I'm away working on Formula 1 In Monza so that took priority.
As far as I know all girls are doing great. Transplanted to 9l air pots and growth is fine.
We will get back into details when I return.

Green buzz nutrients going a treat. Started fastbuds as will be transitioning to flower in the next few days once they heal from the topping. Started to add grow to fuel the stretch that is coming. Really nice internode structure and huge fan leaves.

Hello growmies.. it's been a very nice week for these crosses. They are huge with the biggest fan leaves I have ever seen. Did some light lst to bring the structure to a even canopy and have started to reduce the light cycle. Were on a 13 HR light on period atm.. will be on a full 12/12 by Tuesday next I think..
These plants have a real stink to them. A really tasty hash kind of smell. I've been adding living organics as a top dress to my Coco every 20 days or so and also a bit of a silica top dressing also just before feed time.
They seem to be loving whatever I am doing and are showing great structure and vigour. No real issues atm 🤞🏼

Just a very very pleasing week. These crosses are just gonna be monster... They have stretched 30% in 4 days.. maybe 5. Smells are rotten skunky fermented beans with a sweet after note.. super structure with amazing node placements allowing loads of light through
Bloom been added as all girls looked to be lacking from p and k. Maybe all the extra lights.
These girls are getting a 30 minute reds only session at lights off. And the red and uva comes on 30 minutes before lights on. My way of trying to create a bit of a sunset/sunrise thing and hopefully Emerson effect 🤞🏼👍🏼

I'm away in America doing the formula 1 so the updates are from photos and messages sent from my wife back home who is looking after the ladies..
Well from what I gather they have gone nuts. The sunny Chiquitas have pushed passed 90cm already and showing first flowers. Lovely tall ladies who are a picture of health.
No issues really apart from higher RH then we would like but she has gone in and defoliated a bit and things seem to have settled.
I'm awa until November 1st as I'm doing the Mexico formula 1 after this..
Updates will be a little light on detail I'm afraid and images will be generic from the room..

So I clearly have 2 different phenos here. CS2 is a chunky fat plant with huge massive colas that are super dense already.. CS1 is taller with a more slender sativa like structure. The buds on 1 are thinner bit fill the branches more.. I can't really get clear shots of this one as she sits at the back of the room and I can't move plants to get a clear shot.. I will at some point work out how to do a rotation but atm it's a jungle...
The buds of CS2 have a delicious citronella smell like a kush but sweeter. Frost is starting to form up on her sugar leaves and even the lowers that I left are pretty chunky..
I will need to increase airflow over these girls as I fear the fatness of the flower this early is going to be a perfect environment for rot...👀👀

A great week for the crosses. Still 2 very different phenos.. chunky girl is doing amazing. Huge dense frosty buds that are gonna be a problem with bud rot I think looking at their size and the amount of sugar leaf they are swallowing up. Pheno 2 is skinny buds but super frosty with a lovely smell.
Feeds remain the same .
Not much else to say. They get bigger....

A great run on this cross. She's coming to the end though with another week I think of clean fruits then a chop..
Very frosty chunky girl. Has been tough and resisted the spores that rotted a few bugs on some other girls..
Plant 1 is gonna be chopped tomorrow plant 2 another week .

I harvested the skinny foxtail version and my god the bud was amazing. Sticky and heavy with resin. She had a full wet trim and is in a rack in my drying room. 292g wet from the skinny one.. very happy.
The chunky pheno is gonna have her tops taken off tomorrow as the are swelling and huge . The rest of the plant can have a few days to recover then another 10 days if hard flowering .

Last week for this girl. Her tops were taken 10 days ago and ate dried. She will be chopped next week so I have moved her to clean fruits for the next 4 to 5 days to use up any nutes in her substrate then will be just water until the chop.

2 very different phenos. Phenob1 was a big chunky girl with super frosty sugar and sweet tropical terps. Pheno 2 was a much more slender plant with foxtailing flowers and a citrus almost white widow terp profile.
Done in 3 phases. Pheno 2 was chopped about 3 weeks ago . She's dried and had a basic cure and first samples are good. Needs to develop as the taste profile is changing daily. I took down all the tops from plant 2 about 2 weeks ago these are drying . The rest of plant 2 was chopped last week and has had a week drying . She needs a final trim and I can get some final weights...

i would give them a low feeding with calmag and organic more PK... every day for 7-10 days
because they will stretch now and are in a big need
But its way better than overfertilising
