Transplanted both plants into final pots. Seems transplant shock was minimal 👌🏽 Weather is starting to warm up nicely also.

More lovely weather this week and all is well. Both girls are on their fifth nodes and we've got our first pistils on the stress killer Jack herer is looking to be a much smaller plant. Started feeding them this week.

Another beautiful week and the girls are looking good. Pruned the bottom two nodes off each plant. Lst for the branches at the 3rd and 4th nodes. Had a little gnat munching on my leaves so sprayed some neem oil, but it burnt some of the preflower pistils. Note to self, no neem oil once there's pistils! Nice little growth spurt on both. Bring on week 5 and bring on the stretch :)

The girls have started to stretch. I lst'ed the lower nodes at the start of the week and removed them today. Stress killer seems to be fully into flower now and starting to get a faint smell. The jack herer is still on preflower. Taking its time, but that's alright. Bring on week 6!

Something seems to be eating its way through some leaves on my plant. For now only around one bud site. Any idea what it could be and what I should do about it?

Looks like leaf miners but it really doesn't matter if I'm right or not... grab yourself some Dr. Zymes Eliminator or some Spinosad (this is usually readily available in any garden center).. use according to the directions. They're both organic and can be used right up to harvest with no worries to the buds. While you're at it, get some BT as well in case you've got chewers rather than suckers... bacilius thuriengenisis... again, available at any garden center. Good luck!

A super hot week this week but the girls are handling it well. Some extra water this week and just letting them do their thing. Jack herer starting to stretch nicely and catching up to the height of the stress killer.

Been another hot and dry week this week, the girls are still loving it though. The jack herer has now passed the stress killer in height. The stress killer is fragrant up close, but can't really smell it when you step away. No smell at all from the jack herer yet. The calyxes and trichomes are starting to come along nicely on the stress killer. Jack herer has really only started proper flowering now. Not the biggest plants, so trying to avoid any stress for the rest of the grow. Will only remove leaves if completely necessary.

Quite a cloudy week and we had our first thunderstorm of Spring, so humidity was up and there were fewer hours of direct sunlight. Trichome formation coming in nicely on both plants. Smell on the stress killer is a bit stronger now but still not really noticeable from a metre away. Cant smell anything from the jack herer unless you touch the buds.

A very wet and rainy week, not a lot of sun to be had. Apparently another week of this to go. The girls are how ever still in fine shape :) Some of the lower fan leaves on the Stress Killer are starting to yellow. More buds coming in on the Jack Herer now. Stress killer's smell isn't noticeable at all when it's in the garden. With all the rain I've had to bring them undercover quite often and once under cover things do start getting quite fragrant from the Stress Killer. Still can't smell much of anything from the Jack Herer.

A really cloudy and a really wet week this weeks. Lots of rain the whole week and only a little sun. It might be like this for the rest of the month. My dog accidentally crashed into the Jack Herer and we lost some branches with buds on, so yield will definitely be affected. The plant is still healthy and going strong. The Stress Killer is also doing well. More and more fan leaves are turning yellow and I'm pruning them off once fully yellow. The trichomes on the Stress Killer are getting quite milky now. 1 week left I reckon, so I've stopped giving her nutrients this week and just going to go with water till harvest now. The trichomes on the Jack Herer are also starting to get milky now, wondering if the stress from the damage my dog caused is speeding up the ripening process here. Even though it's mainly been cloudy the last two weeks with little sun, the buds seems to have still ripened at the rate the breeders said they would. My garden often gets powdery mildew. I've been bringing these girls under cover when it rains, but still out in the open air with a lot of humidity. No signs of mold at all yet. Wondering if it's more the resistance of the strains or just the fact that they aren't getting directly rained on. In terms of smell, it's still the same. Smell from the Stress Killer is noticeable but mild. Not much of a smell from the Jack Herer at all unless you touch it.

The first sativa I've grown so it was interesting to see how different the leaf and bud development was from an indica. Could really only smell anything when I touched the buds so definitely a good option for a discreet grow. Had lots of rain and humidity in the last two weeks of flower and she pulled through without any issues. Trimmed all of the fan leaves off before I cut the plant. For the bud wash I used four buckets filled with water, the first with baking soda and lemon juice, the second with hydrogen peroxide and the third and fourth just had filtered water. Wet trimmed the buds, and dried them on some paper towel with a fan blowing over them for two hours. Placed the buds in a brown paper bag to dry. The buds were small so dried in 8 days even though humidity was over 70% for most of the dry time. They cured in a glass jar for 3 weeks: Days 1-5 - burped 3 times a day. Days 6-10 - burped twice a day. Days 11-15 - burped once a day. Days 16-21 - burped every second day.

This strain was a pleasure to grow. Had no issues at all and she looked beautiful once in flower. Had no mold issues and didn't have to do much to keep her happy. Bud washed and then wet trimmed the buds. The buds dried in a brown bag for 10 days and are now in a glass jar. Will cure for 3 weeks before I give it a go and come back with the smoke report.
