Week 6 (or so) from seed. You can see we've begun to underclear some of them. The primary reason was to take clones (3 from each plant) to preserve the genetic while we flower them. We did not want to take the tops off because we are looking for plants that grow really well without topping, as we are trying to move away from excess manipulation of the plants. Secondary reason was just to clean out some of the vegetation to let air flow a bit more freely. We will finish up the room this week and then flip it into flower.
Last week we also culled some of the plants from each batch. We will continue to remove weaker plants as the hunt continues. One of our main gripes in a phenohunt is when we leave a crappy growing plant and let it finish...and it has crazy awesome flavours or smells...the kind of plant you never want to grow but love to smoke. It has to grow well, then we hunt the smells, flavours and effects.
