I'll try to defoliate only when required from now on, because the soil seems to dry out far more slowly than it used to. In order to provide enhanced lighting to the lil guy, I removed the red&blue LED bars and mounted them on a plate just for him. Also cut off a branch from the 50 cm guy with many flowers and will try to clone it, but since it is nowhere near young, it'll most likely fail…

I wonder whether trimming the lower (big) leaves would be beneficial? Because they’re all shaded now but maybe they participate in the transpiration process at night?

If they aren't covering any potential bud nodes, I'd leave them. Only reasons to defoliate is to increase light to bud nodes and airflow around the center of the plant. I hope this helps.

I really wonder how this guy can have so many flowers, while being half as tall as the two big ones? Maybe it started to flower early, or there was a mistake on SensiSeeds’ side and it’s a different strain?

they all stretch out , i would consider supercroping all tops, think were you will fall them, that way all canopy will be even your inner nod spacing says its too weak light for them, so otherwise all bottoms will be pure popcorn air give small chair or anything, for that smaller girl if needed now with is it same strain ? you have two brothers or a friend with couple, do you all look the same ? that's the answer to your question ;) Happy Growing !!!

Is it normal that the stem turns brownish at the bending site, on all four supercropped plants? It must be, since all flowers and leaves are looking perfectly healthy on the bent apexes, but still I wonder whether it may become weak spots later. Thanks!

I’m having a very hard time coping with humidity (goes up to 85%), since I physically cannot get the airflow outside my house for various reasons. I open the window each morning, but could it lead to rottening in the late stages of flowering? Thanks for your replies ;)

Is the up to 85% just for an hour or two or for extended times? Theoretically you can compensate a bit with enough heat and airflow, but 85% is really high if it's more than just a moment. Is the air outside the tent as high? If the tent has higher humidity than outside, just increase the airflow speed - with more output the air exchanges faster and should get closer to room RH. If the room is as moist, you might want to consider getting a dehumidifier for your tent (or room), and also try if open windows add or lower the RH, as depending where you live the air might even be more humid than indoors. If your plant experiences these levels of humidity for extended periods of time, it is very likely you'll experience rot/mold issues and stress the plant with the environment. I would explore above mentioned options to bringing the RH down. Generally under 60% is safe zone if there's enough airflow but in flower for optimal conditions you want it closer to 40%. To look up ideal values depending on your temperature and grow/flower phase, you might want to check out VPD chart for cannabis. It's a great guide for the correct ratio of temperature v. humidity incl danger zones.

I’m out of Bio-Heaven and I wonder whether it’s worth getting some more, given that I’ll probably flush the plants within a few weeks and only use water then. Plus it’s quite expensive compared to BioGrow, BioBloom or TopMax… Any ideas or maybe an organic substitute? Thanks!

If there is any advice I can give you, it is that "all are necessary, but none is indispensable" ... as much as it is good for the plant, it can grow just fine without it (I only used it once without any particular difference) especially if it already had it during growth :) you can continue to fertilize using all the other biobizz products without any problems :) then very often I mixed fertilizers from different companies, the only thing that matters is the amount of macro/micro nutrients and other substances they contain, finding a substitute if you really care is not difficult, you can even try homemade solutions! On YouTube I loved the videos on how to make compost tea for example :)

Do I still have to wait for like 30% of the trichomes to turn amber? Because in all diaries that I read, the leaves on chopped-off plants are far from being all red and yellow like mine, and although most of my trichomes are milky, only few of them have turned amber. Thanks!

It really depends on what kind of high you are looking for. Transparent/milky indicates more of a head/cerebral high. And milky/amber indicates a couch lock/sedative high. You should be looking at the flower and not the leaves. Use your microscope/loop on the flower/bud to determine what stage your trichs are at. Personally I prefer 50/50 milky/amber. Keep a very close eye on the flower as they can turn amber very rapidly over night. Happy Growing! ~F

@Inganjawetrust, Thanks mate, it really is a fascinating hobby. I’ve learnt so much since I started and it gets more exciting each day. I wish I could grow outside without the risk of being reported, it would be far cheaper (especially with the skyrocketing prices of electricity 😟) and my wife wouldn’t yell at me each day because of the smell in the house. My homemade air filter doesn’t work as well as I wish it would 😅
