For this reason, only 3 out of 6 plants emerged for this treatment, while for the other 2, 5 out of 6 germinated. The germination percentages obtained are higher than those reported by linger et al. (2005), who evaluated the germination percentage in a similar phytoremediation process with cadmium at concentrations of 17 and 72 mg Cd/Kg. Therefore, the concentration of cadmium in the soil was not an impediment to the germination of cannabis seeds. The height of the plants this week ranged between 2 and 3 cm, they have a deep green color and look healthy. They show slightly reddish hues on the stems of the plants in all treatments.

Juano_Mano_Verde420 The plants are on average 4 cm tall and show vibrant green hues, with no signs of chlorosis. One of the T1 plants has a deformation in its leaves; the first true leaves did not form properly, possibly due to cadmium action.

The colors of the stems of the T2 plants showed a reddish coloration in the stem. The plants look generally good, they are growing normally, but the control ones are the smallest.
