Hi there
First official test.
Running cherry cola for fastbud.
I popped the seed in moist paper towel , using RO water and on a heat mat,as the night are still around 9°c.
After 24 hours, the tail is already out.
Fastbud germination rate is 99% of the time "remarkable"
I will plant her in her final 5 gallon fabric pot in 24 hours.
After growing few of their strains,I am pretty confident it will run smoothly, but I will do a few personal experiment on this girl.
-first auto outdoor
-first outdoor with synthetic nutrients
I am looking to switch to organic outdoor but it might be for next season.
Side note: the seeds of cherry cola are massive.(at least those ones).
I do apologise for the picture quality.
I am working on it but it will take some time as we all do what we can financially and also,it is harder than expected to give justice to those beautiful Plantes/buds that we all love and cherish so much.
This little lady came out with one healthy cotiledon and the other one not so much... eventually fell off.
The leaves are a little bit mutated so far and I didn't have much hope for the first few days.
But against the odds and with some care and love under her little bell(transparent plastic cup with a dark bottom to lower the intake of light),she is making it I think.
I did put her inside under the ks2500 to have better environment control.
I will move her out when I believe her to be strong enough.
She is growing at a normal pace.
We will see if she keeps behaving.

Despite missing a cotyledon and having some funny first leaves she seems pretty vigorous.
One interesting note.
She was showing signs of yellowing at day 3,I mean bad.
Then realised.cotyledons are the source of food for the first week or so and she was missing one .
So I gave her 0.5ml/l of nutrients about 600ml .
And then up it to 1ml/l after that.
She is back to green and growing nicely.
No stunt.very lucky because it was yellow like one day maybe 2 without reacting and I think she would have not made it....
Everything is going well.
Pretty vigorous.
Will probably start LST sometime next week.
Not much to say.
To me seedlings with auto is the anxious, boring time.
Once they get going and I can LST,then I am happy.
I notice the green is kind of light.
She might need Cal mag due to a different Coco, or due to using an uncalibrated pH pen for a while waiting for the solution to arrive by post.
Anyway I am just going to keep the normal program without cal mag and a calibrated pH pen for now.
She as shown signs of sex this week, and she is having a push in her growth.
I m expecting her to start getting bigger and taller this coming week.
And I call it she will start flowering in a couple weeks.
I don't think she is going to get very big but time will tell.
The weather as been really wet and I am struggling with humidity at the moment.
Everything is riding beautifully.
I kinda supercropped the main stem by accident trying to pull it down during LST...😅. Well.not stunned or anything so I m pretty happy.
She is still small in size but getting wide.i can see already she as some size potential.
Also as a side note.
She seems to not enjoy cold temperature.she looks the best around 25°c and when I have her outside the tent for a bit, she will start sweating and just feel very cold.
More than the other strains.
It does not impact on the growth but something I noticed and would look at if I was growing outdoors close to the cold season.
I am slowing her down with my defoliation but I don't mind.
I keep on LST and shaping her the way I like.
She start to have a bit of a smell and she is about to start stretching.i think we will be in flower very soon.
Cruise control is on.
What a lovely plant.she was quiet stocky while in veg but started stretching last week and she is nicely opening up.
She looks like she could get out of control size wise if I wasn't doing LST.
So I keep doing it as I don't want it to be visible from the street 👀
The leaves a quiet big and a nice healthy green.
I have cut only a few little branches and leaves that will never see the sun.
I am letting her be while she is stretching.just a bit of lst to keep a relatively even canopy
Well, due to some really unplanned and unpleasant cold few day,she did stunt while stretching.....what a bad time for it.
Never the less, she is still stretching a little bit more but will definitely stay in the shorter side.
So far she is starting to pack on the buds and already as a generous amount of trichomes when she is only just starting to flower.
Quiet a strange bud structure at the very top.it is like the top nugs are squished together.
Some very long white hair growing all over and a slight cherry smell.
The leaves surrounding the buds are a little bit darker than the fan leaves.
Maybe an issue but so far she seems happy with warmer temperatures so I m not sur.it might just be that plant or the strain.
That beautiful girl is already frosty as for such early flowering stage.
She as like a funky dog shit kinda smell while undisturbed but a mild cherry smell when moving her around a bit.
Some of the buds looks a little bit stumpy and I am pretty sure that is a trait of that strain.
Some beautiful big dark fan leaves all over that really give it a nice look.(I am afraid picture don't give it justice).
She is so frosty, the buds are turning white and the sugar leaves are covered.a beautiful sweet aroma with almost some bitterness to it .
Really hypnotic to look at in real.
The buds are not big by any means and I am not sur they will bulk that much more,I mean maybe we will see but she is definitely a frosty reward .
This cherry cola is not big by any means but she still put on a show.
Those buds, sugar leaves, base of the fan leaves and stems are covered with sticky delicious resin.
She smell amazing,a hot cherry smell with some funk.hard to describe
The buds are somewhat dense but I have the feeling once dry they will be hard pebbles like the Trainwreck I grew from fastbud.
She has started fading but the trichomes looks still mixed clear and milky.
I have cut the ok booster out and replaced it with extreme boost pk.
I am pretty I will be starting my flush sometime next week.
This adventure touch to an end.
I am now flushing that girl.just water every day.she is nicely fading and will chop next week.
She is not big by ay means but she is covered with trichomes all over from stems to fan leaves.she smell beautiful,a mélange of funky Cherry and gas, quiet potent and extremely sticky.
Some of the top nugs have that double buds kind of looking like they are crushing each other giving it that unique look.
This is the end.
Sadly pictures don't do it justice at all.
I will try update some better bud pictures.
This girl was stunted probably twice and during stretching.
She had a hard time.she didn't grow very big and the bugs are not as impressive as some other plants I grew but.!! She is frosty, strong, survived a bunch of climate issues and provided with around 98 grammes of really frosty buds that smell amongst the best auto I grew and that even without curing.
I will update the smoke report when cured though.
Had a sneaky spliff of it and oh boi.
She is tasty.
Will definitely run again.
Took around 10 gr for a fishing trip fee days before putting it on the scale.
Also.i have trimmed all sugar leaves for curing process and will bubble hash them
