JewishBuds Growing nicely so far. I’m dealing with some mealybugs or anphins(can’t really tell). Since it’s early I’ve been advised to treat it with Safer’s Insect Killing Soap. I’ve sprayed it twice so far but I still see them. Hopefully with some more treatment they’ll go away. Any advice?

JewishBuds So still dealing with the fungus gnats or possibly springtails. I dried out the soil and used some GNATROL. I’ve still got them, but plants are doing fine. I’m using RHIZO to help the roots in case theyre getting eaten away. I’ll then use Gnatrol again and hope they go away. NYC #1 and 2 are starting to flower.

JewishBuds The NYC Diesel’s starting flowering a few days ago. The Northern Lights Auto is about to start and in a couple of days I’m switching the light schedule from 18/6 to 12/12 to kick the White Widow into flowering. I just gave them a 2nd round of Gnatrol treatment and will start with the FloraNova Bloom on the next feeding. I’m still running on 245W CMH and should crank it up to full 315W when I got to 12/12. We’re going through a heat wave so hopefully it should cool down by then.

JewishBuds Girls are doing well so far. I’m still dealing with springtails, but plants are ok. I started giving the AUTO’s FloraNova Bloom and CannaBoost for the White Widow.

@bobo420, Any books in particular that you recommend? I think I’m doing ok so far, feel like they seem to be a couple of days behind most other plants I see on here. But no too bad. I’m also dealing with a little mealybugs or anphin problem. I was instructed to use Safer’s Insect Killing Soap and I’ve only used it a couple of times so far. The place where I get my equipment from says I should be concerned till the plants start budding and by then I can use something more powerful if they aren’t gone. Does that sound right?

Yo ! My current grows similar - white diesel which is nyc diesel and white widow. And northern lights. A tip if your putting them straight in the big pots try to water in an ever growing ring around them too keep the roots searching. You can let the outside of the pots dry out for a time, I just mist them for 1st week. Best of luck

Thanks man appreciate the advice. So far I’ve been doing along the ring of the pot. But I’ll bring it in closer. I then spray/mist the top of the soil and the plant.

Good luck with it - NYC Diesel is a personal all time favourite of mine. Smells like f’n gas but You’ll love it for sure!!

@JewishBuds, that super sucks then.... the stigma around weed is silly and it’s a shame you have to hide it. If my in laws weren’t already doing it on occasion and cool about it I’d tell em to suck it! Hopefully the harvest still turns out for u! Best of luck girl! 👍👊👍👊

@JewishBuds, regarding the books, all Ed Rosenthal, Jorge Cervantes and Greg Green books are great, can't go wrong with any of them. Regarding the bugs, I wouldn't spray anything on my buds and spraying with something more powerful once they start flowering sounds very wrong. You can use whatever you want in veg because most of it doesn't leave residue for more than a month but again, be careful what you use. Ladybugs are great solution for most of the pests ;)

@bobo420, Thanks man. The guy I get my equipment from was pretty impressed with this being my first go round, even though I’ve seen waaaay better on here. It just sucks that I might have to cut this short. I only have 4 1/2 more weeks till I gotta break down the tent and haven’t found a place outside for them to finish off.

@ToadieK, I don’t know if they’re springtails or fungus gnats. They don’t seem to be harming the plant. I’ve done 2 rounds so far of Gnatrol and have been told is can’t take 2 or 3 treatments to get rid of them. If that doesn’t work I’ll keep you posted on my next form of action.
