All good so far hopefully they will all be female and no signs of intersex plants
Just switched to 12/12 after 18 days veg
3 of the 5 seedlings are very vigorous and will dominate the space they have leaves much bigger than my hands all 5 look quite different in leaf shape one of them has very spiky leaf edges
At this stage they look quite kush/indica dominant in the leaves which are quite rounded and wide only 1 of them at this stage looks like a sativa dom and even this one has pretty wide leaves
I will be quite happy to find a vigorous fire OG dominant pheno or a silver haze Dom both are good
Growing quickly now the northern lights pheno is small compared to the others but looks nice has very deep green leaves that are very fleshy reminds me of a rubber plant
Unlike the NL pheno the kush pheno has paper thin leaves and floppy branches typical of an OG
The spiky plant had a nice growth spurt it's doing it's best but still will be small compared to the main 3
The most sativa looking pheno is also the best pheno at this stage looks great very healthy and very nice spacing with plenty of firm branches
The biggest leaf pheno is looking healthy but it is a little smaller than the other 2 man phenos
The two biggest phenos could easy take over the space they could stretch for another 4 weeks or so I'll have to wait and see if any of them get too tall I'll bend them over to make the canopy more even
Start of week 3
2 intersex/male plants have been removed the remaining 3 plants are showing no signs of intersex
The 3 phenos that remain are the best pheno the spiky leaf pheno and the small northern lights pheno
I am a little disappointed however the best plants are female so overall I'm happy to see how these turn out the best looking pheno is a very nice plant in structure leaf size firm branches and health it's a plant I would like to keep hopefully it makes nice flowers
I have taken cuttings just incase any of them are worth keeping
Day 22 the remaining 3 plants have refilled the space they are all showing much more sativa silver haze traits in the leaves now the spiky plant has the most kush looking leaves
The NL pheno doesn't look anything like this anymore and is the slowest in flower
I bent the heads over to create an even canopy
They all look healthy I have allowed the best pheno to take over most of the space by bending its lower branches out
Producing more resin now colas are starting to fill in
Typical jack herer fuel smell coming from them
Buds look quite light green at this stage

Coming up to the half way mark on a 10 week strain
flowered early at 19 days of light after germination
Normally plants flowered that have received fewer than 30 days veg tend to look a little bit behind schedule until week 6 to 7 when they catch up
So far the SH pheno & the Fire OG are maturing at a standard rate at 35 days of flower they look like 28 to 30 days worth of flower development
I expect this to catch up by day 45
at day 45 they should look like a standard 45 days of flowering development
The slow phenotype has only been allowed a little bit of space this one looks like a 12week + plant
I will only allow it 10 weeks it's too small to be worth waiting for her to finish
Day 37 Removed some leaves at the middle of the canopy to help with light penetration
Day 39 resin production and colas filling in has increased significantly over last few days starting to smell like pine along with the fuel no citrus smell
Start of week 7 day 43
All is looking ok the SH pheno looks quite leafy with NL type leaves in the colas
The fire OG pheno has less resin at this stage but a better flower to leaf ratio
smell is mild to medium of pine fuel and honey very typical smells nothing unique at this stage
Day 50
Slow pheno has lots of resin but looks no more than 30 days of flowering development this will be harvested at 10 weeks
The best pheno is looking better it has dense colas that resemble northern lights type flower development leafy and hard with lots of resin
The fire OG pheno has very good flower to leaf ratio however the buds at this stage lack resin they are slightly below average the buds also look a little puffy like skunk buds I think they will shrink a fair bit when dry they're not as dense as the NL leaning pheno
Overall all these plants have grown nothing like what I expected
None of the phenos I have display any obvious haze traits apart from some thin leaves in early flowering
These plants are much more dominated by northern lights than anything else
Although The fire OG pheno isn't showing any obvious NL traits hopefully this one will build more resin over the next 2 to 3 weeks before harvest
Looking forward to sampling the best pheno it's leafy which makes it look a bit ugly at this stage however once harvested the dense very crystalline buds will look lovely I'm sure and hopefully a pleasure to vape
Day 57
All doing ok the buds on slow phenos colas are starting to fill in this one still looks like it needs 4 weeks to finish
Starting to look silver in places resin building up slowly around 2 weeks to go for the fastest phenos
Fire OG pheno and NL pheno both producing orange and pink pistils
Day 64
Looking good lots of resin on the best pheno this one looks like jack herer now with some extra Northern lights and more resin big swollen calyx looking white/silver
The fire OG pheno doesn't look like a haze cross it has less resin
This will be the final week before harvest
All phenotypes look very different the slowest pheno has a strong musky Moroccan hash flavor with a hint of Northern lights fruit taste this one could have gone 2 more weeks it was a small slow growing plant with very good resin from the start of 3 weeks flower smells like coffee and caramel
The fire OG pheno has a similar taste to slow pheno but much milder and no hint of Northern lights fruit this one smells lovely in the bag like coffee ice-cream
Potency is average the nugs look lovely and big and uniform very nice bag appeal however it did have some bud rot and the resin only came in the last few weeks
The silver haze/northern lights pheno is the most potent and best yielding the flavour is powerful it's a typical sour diesel type of taste with no fruit/citrus or hash taste
It leaves an instant sour fizz in the mouth which is very satisfying the potency of this one stands out above the rest it's long lasting and hits instantly after two hits from a mighty vape I can feel my eyes become heavy and sensitive to light
None of the phenos had a strong odour while growing
Although After drying all 3 smell very nice in the bag
All 3 phenos have produced nice quality buds to vape however only one of the phenos is practical to grow again which is the sour diesel pheno
Personally I don't think this is the best strain for new growers because it takes 10 to 12 weeks and it seems common for resin to develop late so if a newer grower didn't get the plant past 7 to 8 weeks maturity the buds would be so good
I like hash flavours so I am happy with the results even though 2 of the original 5 plants were chopped out at the start of flower for showing male traits leaving 3 to flower
Overall these plants didn't turn out how I expected I am pleasantly surprised I expected pine citrus haze plants with maybe a bit of OG taste in the background however two of the 3 phenos are musky/coffee hash dominant in taste and smell
I didn't get any phenos that blended the fire OG with the silver haze
The phenos I got were more like either parent than a blend of both also a very prominent northern lights appearance in the colas of the sour pheno this one looks like jack herer with a few more leaves and more resin
