I didn't have much time this summer so I planted quickly 1 of each strains in 25 gal. + 1 Spirit Quest direct in soil to see the difference. Lets see what these strains can give during the flowering stage! Really easy to see the difference between the 2 strains, I dont know if the Brazil Amazonia will make it here in Canada.
Spirit Quest : Malawi X NL5 Haze X Faceoff OG.
Brazil Amazonia grows wild in the jungle of Amazonian rainforest
Lets hope the weather of the end of September/October will be good!! At this moment the Spirit Quest direct in soil is really the one who looks the healthiest but a bit late!
Have to try it again next year for sure to really can judge that one! Crazy looking sativa strain and easy to grow in my opinion , but not protecting her during the bad weather here was maybe not the best idea. Great smell and colors.
The brazil amazonia was growing really well and it was the biggest plant between the 3 im growing this summer but some nutes lock followed by budrot due to 2 weeks of bad weather(cold night and long rainy days)knock that plant off. I had to cut what was still good and eliminate the rest. Same thing happen for the Spirit Quest in pot just Nearby but on this one not much buds was good to keep so I dump all in the garbage. At least I got one big Spirit Quest direct in soil and the plant look really good! Next year I will check to make a good set up to protect the plants for these bad days and plant all the girls direct in soil no more pots.
That Spirit Quest look very nice in my opinion! Really healthy after 3 frost. I chose to let it go without any defoliation and any training to see the result and im not disapointed! Less work and good result thats what im searching for hehe one more week or two and I’ll cut!
Spirit Quest was not so hard to grow but one of my 2 phenos had some issues with the non stop raining days and cold night. The one in my diarie was a beast! No problem, 3 or 4 frost , alot of rain and cold night, great sticky beautiful flowers with no problem! Starting that plant too late was my only error!
Really nice strain. Have to try this one again next summer but I will start the seedling early to get more and better result! Geat choice for northern climate for sure.
