sandspur Alright, time for a new grow. I had some CBD seeds that I won from Seedsman awhile back so here we go. I am running this plant in DWC and have changed my setup a bit. I changed this to a single pot but I am running a reservoir. Hopefully this goes well - I’ve got a surgery scheduled during the beginning of the grow (21st) so hopefully all goes well with both the grow and the surgery. I'm going to be in the hospital about a week so my next update will probably be late. They day this plant popped it was put in the clay. Day 1 means day 1 here.

sandspur Okay so I had surgery this week for pancreatic cancer. I've come back many weeks later to update. So I don't have a lot of pictures but I do have data and I've put everything I had here. My surgery was successful but that isn't the trick (well I guess it's part since only 20% of people can even have the surgery). The big trick is keeping it from coming back. I have innumerable doctor's appointments and will start chemo some time in the future. It's going to be tough keeping the diary up but I'm going to try.

sandspur Alright so this was the week after surgery. I had a surgical procedure called the Whipple. I only bring this up because if you know what it is, you'll know I didn't do much with my plants. Thank goodness my setup has auto ph dosing and my plant is small. It just doesn't take a lot of care right now.

sandspur Alright, roots are peeking out the bottom of the basket and I think this plant is about to start some rapid growth. It has been a good week and I was able to get in here and get some more pictures this week. Everything looks good so I'm leaving well enough alone.

sandspur So I know it might look like my grow is behind. But day 1 for me is the day the seed sprouted. So we're right on schedule with this little plant. We're at the point now where it is changing daily. It is coming along nicely and is looking great. This is my first grow with no LST. I will lightly defoliate in this grow but for the main part I'm leaving it alone and seeing how that works.

sandspur Well more big growth this week and she moved into flower. I changed the nutrients accordingly and she is looking good. You can't see it super well in the pictures but she is getting a lot of purple around the flowers. She is very much a dwarf (I expected this from this strain) but she's a pretty dwarf. I've got to get the humidity down next week. Also you can see that it is getting colder at night.

sandspur A full week of flowering and she is starting to take her final shape. She is purple all over the main cola and is building bud. I don't know how much longer she will build before she is ready for harvest.

@sandspur, completely agree. I just have the opportunity to check the installation every day. if this is not possible, then it is better to use more solution

@ArthurStotch, your method works as well. In my case, this gives me more time between water changes with more solution. Both just different ways to achieve the same end result.

@sandspur, very interesting. I use a drain through a separate tube with a large syringe. I don't like messing around with a lot of solution. I wish you good luck. everything is done very neatly

@Cyrusdavirus, she certainly is. She's the smallest plant I've grown by far but is easily the prettiest. I've enjoyed this grow even as hands-off as I've had to be. It was a good time for that. I have some more of their (Seedsman) strains and will probably try one next. I'm impressed so far with this one.
