Watermelon Zkittles X Velvet Moon - GHS

I'm starting this diary again and a bit late due to a bit of a disaster. The legends at Green House Seeds (shout out Gabriele!) Have been so understanding and supportive so I couldn't wait to get going again and grow these ladies. The girls are 3 weeks old at the start of the diary but have been easy and handled everything fine, as you'd expect from Green House Seeds genetics! I started the girls by soaking in water for 36 hours then I planted into a 0.5L cell pot. They all germinated within a day. :) I moved them over to their current 3L pots at week 2 and I have just FIMmed/topped them all once. I plan on also topping the 2 side nodes directly underneath the main Tops to increase the total to 6. I will be repotting them into their final 30L (7 gallon) cloth pots in the next 7 days. So far the girls are doing wonderful. I plan on a 6 week veg period and to use a scROG netting method to fill a 4x4x6 (120 cm tent) Thanks again for Green House Seeds for being understanding and supportive!

This week went really well. I moved the girls into their final 7 gallon (30 litre) pots. While repotting I gave them all a good amount of Great White mycorrhizae direct to the medium before planting. The girls are under the 800 watt FC8000 on 75% and have been topped on the main stem and the 2 highest sides to create 6 total tops. All went well and now they will be allowed to just grow like crazy.

This week has gone really well. I decided to top the girls one last time each on their maintops. So now there are 8 total tops :) The genetics from Green House Seeds are resilient as ever! From now on I will just be using LST and defoliation to keep the girls growing optimally. I've changed them onto their late veg feed now and I'll be maintaining these levels for a couple of weeks. The girls are filling out really well! The multiple tops and FIMs I've done are establishing well. I plan on giving a good defoliation and stripping the skirts next week. I'll also start doing some LST too then. I want these girls to get big and bushy so I can really fill a scROG net in either a 4x4 or 5x5 tent. This week has seen some insane growth! The girls had filled the tent and was in need of a much needed clean up and defoliation. I removed everything in their skirts and I have increased the feed to match their hunger. The girls have really impressed they have doubled in size since last week and I had to use alot of training to tame them. I'm getting a 5x5 tent and new Spider Farmer SE7000 light this week and I am going to give the girls a new home this weekend. I will install a scROG netting and remove the wires then get the girls settled. Planning to flip to flower within 2 weeks. Hi everyone! :) This week has gone really well. I moved the girls from their 3.3x3.3 tent into a 5x5 tent. They also got a gift of a brand new light from Spider Farmer! The SE7000. I plan to add the scROG netting this week so this will be the last photos of the individual plants. Hi everyone! Today is the final day of flower. I am flipping them to flower tonight. The girls have had 2 layers of netting put into the tent and the 4 plants have filled the 5x5 (150cm) tent completely :) The genetics from Green House Seeds have impressed me every day of veg and after a long journey it's time for them to enter into flower. I'll just be defoliating and making sure the air flow stays good from now on. I've increased the feed and started the canna boost and the girls are just looking lovely. Hey everyone! This week has gone wonderfully as per usual with Green House Seeds genetics lol. I gave the girls a massive defoliation and raised up the back right plant on a small bucket to even out the canopy. All 4 plants are drinking a gallon minimum a day now and they are enjoying the increased feed. I flipped them to flower 5 days ago and so far the stretch has been quite easy to manage. Hi everyone! Apologies for the later than usual upload. I've had my hands full this week with a harvest and also defoliated these girls massively. Fortunately the delay means I got to get some before and after photos of the defoliation. To show how extreme it is for my early flower defoliation. Other than cleaning the girls up. I have also increased their feed and added a slight increase in PK getting ready for week 3-6. I should just be able to remove the odd leaf from now on as I have done 2 huge clean ups in week 1 and 2 of flower. Entering week 3 now. Hi everyone! Entering week 4 of flower now :) the girls are doing wonderful! The defoliation is in full swing now along with the feeding. Thirsty and hungry girls indeed hehe. Other than that it's basically auto pilot at the moment. The buds are growing every day and the smell is still quite subtle. Hi everyone! The AlienZ girls have really started to fatten up this week :) on day 29 since flip I'm extremely happy with the progress so far. The temps and humidity are perfect so the girls are just being defoliated as I feed and being allowed to do their thing at this stage. They are still very thirsty and I will be doing a couple more feeds with the PK boost as they seem to be enjoying the extra nutrients and don't see any sign of them slowing growth yet. Hi everyone! This week has been nice and easy. The girls are building weight nicely and the terp profiles are building up and developing. Starting to get a mix of either creamy fruity on 2 plants or a spice earthy smell on a couple. Yield wise is looking great. There doesn't seem to be any bud sites not developing well. I'm on the final week now of high feed (week 6) I'll be going to less for week 7 then flushing from near the end of week 7 until week 9. Hi everyone! Happy new year!! Another nice and easy week this week. A bit of defoliation here and there. I started the flush on the start of week 8 and I'll be giving them 7-10 days of flushing (trichome depending) so far they are all cloudy with the odd amber. I usually aim for 15-20% amber. Hi everyone! The final week is here!!!! Wooo! Hehe. The girls have just been fantastic from day one. Never had any issues and took all training and stress without any issues. I'm harvesting them on day 5 of week 9. The trichomes are cloudy and 10% amber. I will of course do a final harvest report in a couple of weeks so I can see the final yield :). The AlienZ in the end was a real show stopper. Every plant was full of solid buds, nothing airy at all. I was impressed with the adaptation to all training methods. Unfortunately 1/4 plants had an attempt to Hermie. Wasn't catastrophic but it is a very important worry and in the end I wouldn't suggest this strain to anyone who doesn't have their grow area dialed in. If you do make it to the end, the final harvest more than makes up for any work put in. A smooth creamy smoke with a sledgehammer effect.
