Stretch seems to be slowing down and energy is moving towards thickening buds. Frosty trichomes are beginning to emerge. It's all about fattening up those buds now. Looking like its going to be a nice yield from these 2 plants. Stay tuned.

Two plants from seed were sowed at the exact same time in the exact same conditions. One emerged a few days sooner and has taken to growing faster, bigger and stronger than the other. Same strain too. Do different phenotypes of the same strain cause this difference in growth?

Hi there That’s completely normal a lot of plants grow completely different to each other even if they’re from the same packs its just genetics 👍 Best of luck 🌱

Notice how #1 has a bit of a darker color outline around the fan leaves while Plant #2 does not have that. What causes that? Should be the same strain on both plants.

Hey Fam Check out my HomeWrecker Diary I have 3 of them going and all 3 have slight differences. Even though we are growing the exact same strains we see different Phenotypes (Physical Characteristics within plants gene pool) Same as us people 2 sisters can have same parents yet look very different from one another or they can be twins. I hope this helps and happy growing

Does anyone grow 2 different strains in the same grow tent? I am wondering if I should grow one sativa and one indica strain in my next grow. Am I asking for trouble in growing 2 different strains in the same environment?

Nope, you aren't asking for trouble. I have a lot of friends that grow multiple cultivars at the same time, in the same room. Just remember, they will finish at different times. So, if one is done, don't assume the other is done too. I suggest buying a 30x-60x jeweler's loupe for the future, so you can keep an eye on the trichomes once they start looking close to finished. Feel free to click on the airplane and message me if you have any more questions. Good luck!
