Preparing the necessary equipment and tools, getting the seeds, let's get started. Soaking for a day. Tap water, settled, 120 ppm + Simplex Mass at 1 drop per 300ml.
01/10/2022
🌰 The seeds have been soaking in the solution for almost a day, now they're going into improvised containers for germination. Some strains with 1-2 seeds have already started to show "tails."
All varieties follow the same super simple scheme:
1. Soak paper towels in the seed solution and wring them out.
2. Place the seeds between two paper towels.
3. Cover with lids (unused trays for small pots) and put in a warm place.
4. Done, you’re amazing, waiting for roots.
02/10/2022
After another day, I planted all the material in small pots 0.29L - substrate coco+perlite.

Germination 8 out of 12.

mutantfarmer 12/12. All the plants are showing leaf mutation ABC, with some having slight differences. I will provide descriptions based on phenotypes after determining the sex.
Over the week, the plants received watering with a solution of 450-530ppm 5.8pH. I started measuring the yield on the last watering on 14.10, and it showed 600-850ppm, 5.5-5.7pH in different plants. I thoroughly watered all of them with a solution of 450ppm, 5.8pH. Two plants show slight signs of nutrient block in the form of slightly incorrect pH, with leaves curling a bit, nothing critical.
DB#3 is the slowest in germination and growth activity, I'm discarding it.

mutantfarmer All the plants are growing actively, without any problems. The aphid attack I mentioned in another report didn't affect the Bastard plants, but they were treated just like all the others, which didn't impact the growth process.
Throughout the week, the plants received watering with a solution of 450-530ppm 5.8pH. At the end of the week, I started adding CalMag to the solution. Drainage wasn't measured during the week.

mutantfarmer Most of the Bastards grow without any visible ailments, a few show slight nutrient issues.
As a result of detecting the problem with a pH meter (check my report on Drunken Bastard x Freakshow), and new measurements of the output indicators, it turned out that the pH level reaches 5.0-5.4. After identifying the issue, I give the plants a larger volume of solution, hoping for a quick correction of the indicators. I also raised the nutrient level from 500-550 to 580-630.

mutantfarmer Vegetation, Week 4.
Most of the Bastards are growing without any visible ailments, a few are showing slight nutrient issues. A few samples are demonstrating sexual characteristics that can be recognized upon close inspection. I can preliminarily divide the plants into 2 phenotypes, distinctly different in their skeletal structure, let's call them "big stick" and "bushy ball."
Also, these guys are quite friendly, and it's unlikely you'll be able to separate them without issues, as they will cling to each other with their leaves.
Throughout the week, we received a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.9-6.2pH and 650-710ppm.

mutantfarmer DB#2 was the first to show female characteristics, and despite some issues along the way, I decided to choose her as my contender for the #CannapediaGrowersCup4th in the High THC category. I transplanted her into a new container - a comfortable price/quality equivalent to FloraFlex at 1 gallon (the original isn't available in my country yet, unfortunately). The substrate is also coconut + perlite, and I filled the container with about 2-2.5 liters.
The plant relates to its skeletal structure to the phenotype that I called "bushy ball" last week, and it grows evenly in both vertical and horizontal directions. After the transplant, I water it once every 2-3 days.
The other plants received a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down over the week, with readings of 5.8-6.2pH and 670-730ppm, twice a day.

mutantfarmer DB#2 #CannapediaGrowersCup4th There were no interventions in the life of the plants, and no time was spent, just watering.
From the other plants, I filtered out all the boys, leaving only one with the father's phenotype, still not sure if I'll use him, and a few girls. I hope to take photos of the samples next week and send them for flowering.
During the week, we received a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.8-6.2pH and 700-780ppm, twice a day.

mutantfarmer DB#2 #CannapediaGrowersCup4th super bushy plant, sprawling in all directions like ivy, branches exceed the length of the stem by 1.5-2 times. Out of curiosity, I stomped (in the photo and video, the plant before decapitation).
I haven't been working with the plants due to a "reset" of my greenhouse. I'm testing the video format, this is the first "raw" attempt.
I reduced the nutrient concentrations and for a week we were getting a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.8-6.2pH and 650ppm, every 2-3 days.

mutantfarmer At the beginning of the week, I checked DB#2, the root system in the 2L pot hasn't really developed much, so I carefully removed the excess coco and moved it to FloraFlex in a 1L pot. After that, I gave it a couple more days of veg, trimmed it, and switched to 12/12 and changed the nutrients from Grow to Hybrids.
The aroma at this stage is blueberry-garlic.
G.H. Feeding Hybrids + pH Down, with readings of 5.8-6.2pH and 850ppm, once a day.

mutantfarmer DB#2, #CannapediaGrowersCup4th without interference. It’s ramping up its growth rate, while slightly increasing in size but hasn’t yet entered the active growth stage, just starting to show clearer sexual characteristics.

mutantfarmer DB#2, #CannapediaGrowersCup4th plant is constantly in a semi-reclined position. The stem and branches are soft, easily bending to the sides. It's starting to flower.
Bonus DB#11, outside the cup. Shows "typical" structure of a hybrid. The second girl from the 12 plants planted, the other 10 turned out to be male and were culled.
During the week, daily watering with G.H.Feeding Hybrids, 6.2-6.3 pH, 930-960 ppm. + Conducted a foliar treatment with Simplex Mass.

mutantfarmer DB#2, #CannapediaGrowersCup4th is covered with small, neat buds. I absolutely loved the structure of this plant, after the harvest I'll put it into reveg and keep it in my collection.
I left it for a couple of days without watering (didn't check if the timer was on🙈). The plant didn't suffer and bravely endured the drought, just to be safe I'm watering with a reduced concentration of the solution.
Daily waterings for a week:
Before the drought G.H.Feeding Hybrids + Booster PK, 6.2-6.3 pH, 930-980 ppm.
After the drought G.H.Feeding Hybrids + Booster PK, 6.2-6.3 pH, 850-900 ppm.
Hope you can help. I am an infant in all this - someone gifted me a Drunken Bastard, about 6" tall and healthy - I really need to keep it that way! Can you please offer some advise on what I need to do, i.e., water type, nutrients, watering schedule and anything else I don't know to ask. Sorry for this but I'm really trying to learn what I need from experts and keep "Daisy" alive!!!! Thank you for whatever help you can provide!!!!!
BTW, I'm 72 years old with tons of time to get this right with the right mentorship!!!!
