Got seeds from Garden of Green...no dropdown option though. I have messaged them multiple times but no response. Any ways, from their site; " Grandaddy Purple has a THC content level that ranges from 20% to 25% and a low CBD content of 0.4%. It exudes the delicious sweet fruity aroma of berries with a hint of citrus and herbal notes. Hitting a joint of this sweet kush will put you in a better mood. The euphoric high flows through your body, lulling you into a relaxed but focused state. For therapeutic cannabis users, this strain is a good choice. It aids in the treatment of insomnia, appetite loss, chronic pain, and joint aches. The flowering period is within 65 to 70 days, a harvest size of 400 grams per square meter is obtained when grown indoors and 100 grams per plant if cultivated outdoors. " Looking forward to this run, can't wait to baby only these plants and no others outside...In addition, no more school for me which was a large part of my absence on here. I'm glad to be back, I have missed all of you but have been viewing from afar. Going to maintain waters every 3 days to ensure roots are moistened and re fertilize every 20 days. This is my new obsession, let's heckin grow some purple!

Well...1 of 4 GDP seeds popped. 2 of 5 total in the tent. I'm giving 24 more hours before I till the un popped pots and start fresh. Big brother is doing well, LST after the 4th node appeared, this diary though is tracking the little one. Watering every 2-3 days very mildly to keep the roots moving down. Coco medium dries or fairly quick now that house heat is on. Nothing new to update, the big one received veg fertilizer [3 TBSP HG, 3 TBSP WC]...little one will get a top dress of HG and WC too once I see a bit more growth. Thanks for reading, I'll try to add more photos throughout the week, but giddy up on this purple grow, bro! Mid week check in...10.18...little plant is doing well. I'm seeing some fraying on the leave tips but I think it was from over watering prior. Watered 10.17 enough to get the roots wet and it's developing node#2. Big brother is doing great, LST is working well and flower sites are stretching to the light. Pistol hairs are showing so a new nutrient addition will be necessary soon. Back to small plant in week1 though, going to add HG fert with WC soon, maybe by end of week.

10.20 - little plant is doing well into 2nd week, watering is every 3 days. The large plant is responding great to LST, officially in flower. 10.21-scratched in fertilizer on both purple grandaddys. Big one got a dose of WC, 1TBSP HG, 2TBSP FG, 2TBSP organic bone meal [trying something new]...little plant got 2TBSP HG and a dose of WC...also threw in a splash of bone meal for it to use as needed. Need to apply a K fertilizer but am avoiding using banana tea due to bugs...taking a trip to my gardening store this weekend to browse. Watered both plants today nice and good. Until next time! :)

10.27-little plant isn't so little anymore. Still in veg with no signs of pistils. 10.31-small plant is popping pistols. Leaf tucking has been happening but I will change to flower tomorrow. Bigger plant is done stretching I think and focusing on bud forming which is great to see. Will update the small one to update the scheduleappropriately. Light is 12"from canopy and additional lights are being thrown in there. Hoping Santa brings me a brand new 3x3 full spectrum light with high penetrating power. The g per watt will be off but I'm hoping this organic run releases a new standard. Until next time, happy Halloween!

11.2- big plant is about to complete 3 full weeks of flower tomorrow. Amend flower nutes 11.11-11.14 ish...wherever that water day lies and that will be final nutrient additive. Bone meal should kick in full swing by next week. Little plant is doing well in flower too. The bone meal should help but I'm thinking of a tea to really give a nice organic dose of P and K...the worm castings will give the N but I'm still early to where the plants will benefit from that. 11.3-looked into tent and performed minor leaf tuck on small plant, or the main plant for this grow. Sites are stretching to the light and growth is looking healthy. Water likely tomorrow morning. 11.4-watered both GDP this morning with lower PH water. Plants are doing great though, leaving alone until next watering.

11.8-plant in 5 gal is still in pre flower. This is going to be a big lady. Opening up the canopy as best I can to get secondary bud sights more light but the crazy stretch has not happened I don't think. Defoliation will occur more this week. Bigger plant is doing great, trichomes are appearing and the scent is lovely. Lights are roughly 13"away from canopy. Watering soon and will try to get maybe 5%run off on both plants. I'm seeing what appears to be soil mites and it's driving me crazy thinking they are spider mites. Organic growing is bringing in life but I must be cautious. No serious bad bugs present though in the tent which is great for my peace of mind. 11.9-watered this morning. Much run off for the 5 gal. Holy Toledo is this going to be large. LST and leaf tucking to expose lower nodes. I will need to tie down one more time, probably by end of week. Thank you and see you next time.

Week 3 flower started 11.14. Progressing nicely, going to pull the 5 gal tonight and defoliate upper fan leaves, as well as one more round of LST...minimally. Bigger plant begins wk5F tomorrow, trichomes are popping all over now. Keeping humidity below50%from here on out, defoliation will help moving forward. PM-this is a big Bitch...

11.22- in the 4th week of flower for the 5gal. Bud sites are getting fat and plumping up. The 3 gal is beautiful, going to cut the next full moon [+-2 DAYS] pending trichomes. I will be adding one last round of dry nutes for the 5gal by next watering. Final stretch here we are! Looking at an early January harvest as of right now.

11.29- the 4x4 went up yesterday with a brew new LED. all plants are happy since overnight, watered this morning. Older GDP id's showing me purple hues on sugar leaves, along with cannibalizing its lower fan leaves. The diary GDP is doing great as well, we are in the 5th week of flower, could not be happier. May brew a P K tea for the 5gal just to get it to end of flower, but no more dry nutes to either plant. The main diary plant is packing on weight, continuing to move leaves off of bud sites and tucking them under. All in all things are good, temp is very dropped in the tent (68f-74f) and RH is steady 35%-45%. More pictures to come as I will be going to the garage often to monitor environment. Thanks for reading all, it means a lot! Happy growing! 12.2-5gal is doing amazing. Deficiencies showing and buds/sugar leaves changing color to a purple hue. Quite cold in that tent at night, hovering around 61f. Minor defoliation performed 12.1 to remove some sickly leaves and provide light to lower canopy. Trichomes are appearing everywhere also. Time to stop thinking I'm doing something wrong and enjoy what this plant is providing. Next watering will help the plant get to the finish line for sure. *3gal not tracked on diary stats, but harvesting 12.7-12.9 on the full moon. Trichome check shows 50/50 clear to milky. Darkness will ensue 3-4 days before chop...i will also only be giving one more watering to the 3 gal of un PH'd water. Water for both again 12.3. Thank you for reading, please follow and visit my Instagram page! 12.4-last update to the week, plants were watered last night until very minor run off to the 5gal. Gave the 3 gal 1/2gal bottom watering but pot is still light. End is near, 3gal harvest officially on 12.8 in the AM. Gave the 5 gal some banana juice for P K, maybe this will help the obvious nutrient deficiencies this early yet in flower. Going to let this plant ride past the 8th week of flower to ensure its reached it's full potential. It's covered in trichomes though already and pulling from its leaves. I cant wait for the new pics tomorrow morning, start of the new week. Thanks for following along!

12.6- looks like the deficiencies are actually light burn...found that out after I moved a leaf and it was bright green on another leaf that showed NPK def... Raised the light to 18" above canopy. My thoughts are I blasted the plant with twice the PAR intensity with my new light and stressed it out bad. No bud bleaching so I think I just missed catastrophe. Smells fucking delicious though, like berries and skunky hash. Best smelling plant I have ever come across to date. Trichomes appearing everywhere, 3ish more weeks! 3 gal is in darkness getting prepped for cut 12.8. 12.7-prepping for chop tomorrow. 3gal stalk drilled through, trichomes are 95%milky, knowing they will still ripen mildly after cut and over the next 48 hours still. 5gal is still most in the soil, going to water when I see mild stress to the leaves. Looking to chop sometime after Christmas and before 1.6. Things are still going great though. 12.8- 3gal was chopped at low tide on the waning gibbous mom passing through Gemini constellation. Increasing RH to dry over the course of days, but the cold is really what I am aiming for as the condition in drying. 12.9-watered 5 gal this morning. Minimal run off with PH water. I removed some dead leaves that just fell off, leaving the light burn leaves alone for the most part. Buds are getting fatter and the smell is still beautiful.

[Anyone else notice the color shift in GD?] 12.12-all is looking good for plant. Trichomes are covering all areas, the end is very near. Plant is shedding leaves, color truly is changing now and best of all...milky and amber trichomes on buds! I keep seeing the flowers swell so I decided to take a look today and what did I see?? 80%milky, 15%amber and 5%clear. Makes me think I missed a week in flower, but I will be monitoring closely this few weeks. Plan is to water 12.13, inspect trichomes again and make my general watering decision for the next week and a half. This Plant may be ready to cut much earliest than expected, but that's okay. Thank you for following along, stay tuned for more updates along the week! We're all in this together! 12.14-plant is turning nicely, going to pluck any limp leaves as I see them. Last water will be 12.16 or 12.17. Still unsure of when I want to chop but I do want a heavy amber content. My biggest issue is identifying true F1 date. I'm either on D45F or D52F today, but I keep checking them trichomes. In my heart I think the last watering date will be good, chop before Christmas, but only the 5 gal knows when it's done. Temp is sitting 66f-71f with a consistent RH of under 40%.conditions are ideal, opening the window twice a day and have been for positive environmental exchange. Not much more to do with this plant, I made it to the end with a seemingly good harvest coming my way. Will update this week at next[final] watering with my game plan and chop date. Thanks again for following along, the love on this platform is unmatched! 12.15, going to water until moderate run off tomorrow. Defoliating rest of leaves in the morning of 12.16. Darkness will occur 12.19, chopping 12.23AM. Will add the last week on GD but will be in complete darkness for a few days. Thanks for following along, early samples of the 3 gal are astounding. Lucky me I have 3 more GDP seedlings above coco being watered since 12.7. 12.17-watered last night freezing water from outside. Did a final shock flush and things went well. Defoliated Most large fan leaves...darkness will hit Tuesday for plant. Things are perfect in there. 12.18-morning temperature was 65. Defoliation is done mostly, will be leaving alone, patiently waiting for Monday night to shift into dark tent. Glad the end is here, I'm quite proud of the flower that was produced before dry/cure.

12.19-plant is ready to die...wet trim basically performed, darkness tomorrow and chop this Friday. I'm loving the smell but will miss this behemoth in the tent. Glad I got 3 other similar plants in base seedling. Looking for over an ounce of product, going to give this a full 3 weeks before abt sample. I never know how to and these diaries when harvest is near, but thank you to everyone who stopped by to check out my process. It's very appreciated and welcomed! Enjoy the holidays everyone and happy growing forever! *3 gal is in cure now, 32g total dry weight without the weight of trim. Yay!
