First week down. Their looking good. Not growing as fast as the banner did in this soil mix. Probably due to genetics and partially because I didn't let the nutrients cycle a bit before potting. Since I have 3 mimosa cakes going I think I'm going to try that one of them. Never tried high stress training on an auto before. Nothing super crazy just defoliation and lollipopping. Also started a worm bin and been making jlf. I think next grow I'm going to try sorcing all nutrients from my house and yard and try to not spend any money on the next grow.
Well one is dieing. So that sucks. I had issues getting the moisture level under control in that pot. So I'm sure she got over watered and has root rot. Oh well the other is doing good. Noticed a little yellowing. So I gave it a bit a jlf. The 12/12 flip doesn't seem to have bothered it asuch as I thought but it has only been a week. One my last harvest is dried. She will be going in the tent and back on an 18/6.
Well Oates died. Could get the irrigation dialed in and he go over water. Hash on the other hand is doing wonderful. She is already showing signs of flowering. Wish she would have waited to flip till she got a little bigger. Though not surprised. I had to flip the light to 12/12 because the other plant she is in with was getting too big. I'm doing a side by side with another grow. Same strain Same everything. I'm fucking around and finding out it hst is good or bad for auto's.
Still can't believe she's started to flower. I'm growing this along side another in the same soil, same cultivar, same environment. Comparing the yield between last and hst training on autos. This is the hst. So far it doesn't seem like hst is slowing her growth compared to the lst one.
Well since this guy flowered so fast I didn't get to train him like usually do. So there are a lot less bud sites. Hopefully since there are less the buds will be bigger. No issues so far. Figured she'd be done in month to 2 months. Start to get sticky and smell too.
Coming along looks like it's a week behind the other. So everything is good. Just been giving her water and defoliating a little. She not super leafy so I have had to do mush just.
Well she's going to be small. I was hoping she'd catch up but due to where I have to keep her she's getting less light. I don't think this will be a fair comparison of a hst only and a list only grow but I did learn a bit. Feeling like a you can probably top an auto one to 2 time and defoliate about the same with little to no loss in growth and yield. Will have to repeat this and plan ahead more.
So something is definitely going on with her. Thought it was a nutrient deficiencies but gave a full run and zero improvement. I think it's an infection. Soil is phed properly, ec is good, not over watered, it has been a little cold though. Due to the lack of light because she's on a 12/12 she not very big and the bids aren't super dense. Couldn't be helped. The dwc in the same space thought would be an auto like the last two I ran. Turn out to be a photo and had to flip due to space. Think I going to press her into rosin, since the flower is lacking a bit
Well decided to harvest her. She wansni doing well. I think it got root rot and the developed a nutrient deficiencies. Honestly this one had everything working against it. From it's tent mate that got too big so I had to flip to 12/12 early and not being able to raise it up high enough light. Is what it is. Drying currently. Buds look larfy so I think. Going to press it into rosin. Smells wonderful though.
