Saw there weren't very many for this new Ethos strain so thought I would get one started. Have 2 seeds started here as that is all the room I have in my tent. Haven't done much with the nutes yet. These will be joining 3 Blue Gelato #41 from Barney's Farm in a 3x5 tent that I just setup especially for this run.
The germination so far has been a little painful. To be honest, I thought they were both dead in the pot but then they popped out and here they are. I named them after a couple characters from an old radio show in Michigan from when I was a kid. Nino and Plonk were a couple "yoopers" that were always screwing up. Anyway here is a pic of them now.
Day 9, I guess second week now? I dunno why the germination is separate? Anyway, here is a pic of Nino and Plonk on day 9 since they were put in a pot. They are doing OK.
Day 11 Here are a couple pics of the ladies. Doing ok. Nino's wavy leaves continue. Second set of leaves popping out though on both!
Day 15. Watered them for the first time yesterday I think. Pretty much full strength Jacks with some PowerSi, Mr. Fuluvic, and a bit of Tribus. They are looking good to me so far! Maybe a little stretchy. I use the perlite to keep the bugs away.
There is about an inch of it at the bottom of that little pot as well.
Day 18 I noticed a couple roots peeking out at the bottom so I uppotted them. This pot is about half a gallon maybe? Anyway, watered them a bit as well with the new pots. Will probably not water them for a week after this.
Day 21 Both looking good. Will probably be topping them soon. I have 2 more of the same that I started a couple days after these two that I am trying to get caught up. The 4 of them will be included in week 4.

Day 22 - As you can see, Nino and Plonk are doing well. There are two more rascals in the bunch. I started these a couple days after the previous. They are about 5 days behind but I will be updating them with the other two. So here is Gloop and Gleep. Also Samo 78. I did pop a 5th seed but that one pooped out on me so there you have it.
Day 25 - Watered them with Jack's 321 plus Mr. Fulvic @ 1tsp/gal, PowerSi at 1/2 tsp/5 gal, and a little Tribus. Everybody is looking good! Gloop might end up being shorter than the others.
Day 30 They are in half gallon pots. I will be moving them up to full gallon pots in a couple days. I have another 30 days before the tent these guys are going into is available to kinda keeping them small. Will be topping them soon and likely clone the tops for mothers.
Day 32 Everyone got topped. ON a side note, one of the 3 Blue Gelato #41 I had flowering turned out to be a male. I am not pleased...supposed to be feminized. Second time this has happened. GRRRRRRR...
Day 36 - Still on 18/6 and will be for another couple weeks. Upsized their pots to 1 gal. So far so good. Nice and healthy. Oh, the grow medium for these guys is a bit of a hybrid. 50% is a perlite/coco mix and the other 50% is a Miracle Grow container mix soil from lowes. I also add about a cup of diatomaceous earth per 5 gallon of media to my mix to help with bugs.
Day 40 - looking good, VERY vigorous plants. Can't wait to see their flowers. Cleaned them up a little bit yesterday and gave them a bit of water. The lights in this particular tent is about as BITCH ASS BASIC as you can get. Some Amazon junk that I ended up replacing with some much nicer HLG lights in my production tents. These only lasted about a month before I realized my folly and moved them to the mother/vet tent. I will say they have kept things green but aren't the most powerful LEDs in the world. It helps with my impatience because I am always starting seeds/clones early and way too many so the crappy lights actually keep growth a little bit on the slower side. 4 more weeks and these will move to the 5x5 Flower tent with 4 Super Lemon Haze clones.
@Chronicbastard, I am going to be keeping these guys in my veg chamber until probably mid december. If I am lucky, I will have them flowering around Christmas in my 5x5. It will be these 4 SOMAs and 4 Super Lemon Haze from Ethos. The SLH are clones.
So I currently have 3 tents. A 4x4 with 3 Cherry Gar See ya and 3 Mandarin Cookies, a 5x5 with 3 crescendo and 3 super lemon haze, and a 3x5 with 3 Blue Gelato 41 and gonna add these once they get caught up a bit.
