Gemischte Gefühle

jojoG2G Unfortunately, I started my report very late. So far, I can say that both strains are developing splendidly and haven't shown any issues up to now. I'm currently using Woma's root stimulator and basic nutrients. (works great) I topped them two weeks ago and have been continuously stressing them. Today, I trimmed them, tied them down, and starting tomorrow, I'm sending them into the 'flowering phase' 😐 In the pictures, they still look a bit worn out; I had just trimmed and tied them shortly before. P.S.: the two in the back are the Blue Sunset Sherbert, and in the front are of course the two Tangies.

jojoG2G The plants have handled the trimming and tying well and are starting to sprout new growth again. I switched to 12/12 hours today. So far, they show no signs of deficiency and are handling the EC value of 2.1 very well.

jojoG2G The babies have started to bloom, and from today, we start counting. I've raised the EC to 2.3, they look really good, no signs of deficiencies or excess. I'm already looking forward to the coming time. P.S. On the day of the time change, I removed all the buds that would have fallen off during lollipopping anyway, but the fan leaves are still on. On day 10 of flowering, I will remove those. I hope that by removing the buds early, more energy goes to the upper (newly forming) buds, and that also reduces the stress during lollipopping. Let's see if the plan works out.

jojoG2G Day 11 of flowering, I've been doing some lollipopping on the plants. Maybe a bit over the top, but I think they'll still turn out really fat. The grow has been going smoothly so far, and the fertilizer from Woma is doing its job very well. (It's my first run with this fertilizer.) I think I'll really notice the potential of the fertilizer starting around week 4 when the nutrient consumption increases. But I'm confident that everything will go as planned :)

jojoG2G Plants are developing beautifully. I had to raise my lamp distance because I had a few hot spots, you can see it from the bleaching. Otherwise, good growth; you can already recognize the potential of the plants. I'm currently fertilizing with my basic nutrients at an EC of 2.6 (starting with tap water at 0.420 EC corrected with calmag to 0.5). I will start adding P-K from the 5th week.

jojoG2G Aside from a few aftereffects of light burn, no issues. They are developing wonderfully. I've started adding Boost to the watering, in addition to the base nutrients. If it keeps going like this, the babies will do their strains proud :-)

jojoG2G I just added a UV lamp (25% UV-A + 75% UV-B) I might have been a bit too eager in the first few days and had the lamp too close, which caused some burns on the leaf tips.

jojoG2G I've started flushing. Even though the upper leaves look a bit worn, it was more of a calculated move on my part since I'm pushing it to the limit. I'm really happy with the decision to use a UV lamp. The buds look really nice and are very compact and big. I'm already excited to see what comes out in the end. If everything goes according to plan, it will be a Christmas weed :-)

jojoG2G I've been flushing for over a week now. They’re only getting water and a bit of molasses every few days. The UV light is definitely stronger than I thought. I burned about 5% of the leaves because the distance was too short. (I was aware of this risk) I'm also excited about the resin production. I've never done this before, but after this grow, I'm going to have the babies tested to see if the UV lamp made any difference or not :-)

jojoG2G Today I removed all the fan leaves and watered one last time. They will now have 4 days of darkness. (only the fans including the ventilators are on) After that, it will be harvest time :-)

jojoG2G The grow was nerve-wracking because I used a new nutrient and had UV-a + UV-b in use for the first time. Despite everything, I'm very satisfied. I was able to maintain the standard of 2g/Watt again. For the next grow, I'm aiming for the range of 2.3-2.5g/Watt.
