Marlboro Looks much better after light was reduced. Dynamic of growing increased. LST planned for this week. Watered only once on this week to look at outlet water. 17.10 4 L of water to look at outlet ppm. Thought that some problems, but received some advice and now just monitoring. 20.10 Start training and water 2 L. Looks good for me

Hi. Today first time decide to put 3-4 L of water and look at ppm out. Some growers advise not even check it, but i did and here it is: Fresh water only. In - 48ppm; out -8000ppm. But she looks good. Temp 25; humidity 59% CO2 - 392ppm. Any advice or explanation? Thanks in advance

runoff ppm should be a bit further out on pH scale / ppm than the water you put in... and a further out on pH scale / ppm than what is in the substrate. It's "dirty" water re-hydrating substrate, so the solutes that went out of solution due to evaporation will go back into solution as you water... so there's the fertilzier you (typically) add and then the stuff that dried out before the plant could drink it... ==> higher ppm / more acidic in most cases of a garden with pot plants. if for some reason your substrate is alkaline, it'd be more alkaline than the substrate is as above for an acidic context for the exact same reasons... that's what's in the pot what runs off. Anyway, i don't see any major symptoms on the single picture from faw away that you provide -- assume that's just some moisture on it? Your plant looks fine in previous week too. The cotys are healthy and they'll be the first thing shed if there's a problem. In soil you want to ramp up slowly... allow plant to react to what you've done and read it... adjust and repeat. I see you ramped up nutes recently, so if odd things occur in next week it's going to be due to what you fed. always some unknowns with soil until you are familiar with the product, assuming consistency from manufacturer. a whole mess of trial and error if the symtpoms are not clearcut. if you don't know what is in the soil you don't know what needs to be supplemented... ratio of nutes fed is equally important to concentration of each nute fed. assume it was 800 ppm? 8000ppm would cause death in all plants i know about. anything over 3EC is quickly lethal. EC -> ppm conversion is different based on region, it's better to use EC for commnication just in case you are in europe and i am in USA and our pens convert FROM EC differently... ppm is never directly measured with these cheap pens and even the more expesnive bluelabs.. they measure electrical conductivity then convert that to ppm/tds... in the USA it's just doubleing and moving decimal.. you have to divide by 10/7 (2 in usa) and move decimal accordingly. So 1.5EC on my pen is 750ppm. in europe it'd be 1050ppm. to my eye 750 is safe... 1050 in a soilless context (mine) is dangerous long-term. You can see how this can influence how a question or answer is received if ppl are form 2 different regions.

Marlboro A new week has started. Watering with 50ppm every 2 days, one liter. I got Guanokalong and added 50g on the surface of the substrate as recommended by the manufacturer and the well-known grower Soma. It seems like the plant really liked this supplement. This week, I don't plan to feed it at all. We're slowly stretching and growing.

It's been 3 weeks. And the plant looks healthy, but I feel like it should be bigger on day 24 of its life. Could this be because it's my own strain? I mentioned in the report title what it's crossed with.

If it’s your own cross.. no one can tell you if that’s the reason it’s slow better than you. You should have first hand experience with each parent. If there’s no similarities with parents, it’s probably just a runt. It does appear to be displaying the beginnings of a polyploid or possibly some fasciation. Aside from all that.. yes I believe it should be bigger for 24 days old

Marlboro I didn't like how she reacted to the training, so I decided to let her be and develop as she is. In my opinion, she started to look much better. I raised the lamp to the maximum height. And reduced it by 50%. I fed her only once with 2 liters and after three days just gave her water, another 2 liters. Finally figured out how much light she wants. And she immediately spread her wings. Now I think we've found a common language. I had to remove the two lower levels because they were in complete shade and were developing absolutely poorly.

It's interesting to find out. The way I messed with the little one and extended the veg stage will affect the quality and quantity of the final product. It seems like I ended up with a photoperiod specimen contrary to my expectations. The parents were two autos and a photoperiod AK-47 dad.

By crossing autos and photoperiod plants you get photoperiod "fast/early version" plants. To preserve the auto flowering trait, you need to breed autos with autos.

Marlboro I removed a couple more big leaves. This week I’ll add Pro Organic Bloom to the diet. I increased the light to 80% of the nominal power. And I treated it for the second time with Protect from T. A. on the leaves. The girl is growing slowly but steadily. The stem is strong and the leaves are large. Considering my experience (zero) as a breeder, it looks promising. She’s picking up speed after the switch to 12/12. Given her parents, she’ll shoot up during flowering. That’s why I didn’t keep her in veg for long.

Ph can change by the hour if it is not getting the appropriate level of nutrition. Too little it goes up too much it goes down. The salts can work in your favor and grow a thriving plant or opposite if not regulated.

Marlboro The flowering week has started, and everything seems to be going well. I may have overdone it with the nutrients. I forgot that I hadn't fed during the previous watering and gave Bloom Booster, even though I planned to alternate food-additives-water. I watered a bit, then with a weak compost. It looks good so far. Let's keep going. The most interesting part is just beginning. By the middle of the week, it's clear that the girl has started flowering. I cranked the light up to 100%. Adjusted the height to make sure it's enough and not too hot.

I noticed some whitening on the tips of the leaves. Mostly on the lower ones, but there are a couple on the upper ones too. I can't tell if I've overfed by adding Bloom booster or if it's a deficiency in potassium and calcium with the transition to flowering. I'd appreciate any advice and constructive criticism!

The ideal PPFD for plants is is between 100 and 300 µMol/m2/S for the seedling stage. It gets slightly higher for the vegetation and flowering stages – 300-600 µMol/m2/S and 600-750 µMol/m2/S, remember though that fox tailing is also caused by excessive heat, light stress and genetics keep all this in mind.

Marlboro She’s going very well. This week i’ll add molasses to her rations. And Bloom booster once a week. Hope to see some snow in a short term. She’s stretching as I expected. As well as her parents she will continue and it will last about a week more, maybe even two. Adding Guano tea to menu this week.

Marlboro Blooming growing up revolutions. She’s look beautiful on my opinion. As I don’t know what to expect at the end it is more interesting to monitor her progress. Guano tea from Soma is really working instead of PK boosters. She is eating 2L per day 150% from full meal. Finally sugar become visible with naked eyes. Look’s like not enough food for her. I decided to increase her ration.

Superscrop made last days of previous week A bit late, but she’s doing well. She’s eating like running horse. Finaly becoming dark blue. Very clear on the edge of leaves.

Marlboro The week promises to be impressive. It's really interesting to watch an absolutely new plant being born. The flowers are just fire. The purple edging delights with originality. Very nice. The stickiness is terrible. Like glue, no worse than Gorilla😉. What is described as 25 ml Black Pellets is guano tea based on this recipe: 50g of dry guano in half a liter of hot (not boiling!) water.

Can you tell me if the flowers are developing correctly? I read that the formation of such new green, wide leaves in the inflorescences is a sign of reveg. Doesn't this kind of flower development look like revegetation?

Marlboro Harvested too early, unfortunately. But it seems like it didn't ruin it too much. It could have been much more potent and stronger. But. Unfortunately. And I can't take any photos. No opportunity. So I apologize to those who were following along✌️🤙 After drying and curing, there will be a smoke report for those interested. Peace to everyone!
