Bluntz - SinCity Seeds

Germinated 10/06 Day 11 from sprout switched them from the cloner to DWC buckets for veg. Let them be for about 12 hours and then I covered the pots with aluminum foil to help keep the roots humid and stop any light leaks. Going to run lights 24/0 for veg as I have heard this gives more compact spacing between nodes. Currently they are in my Gorilla 4x4, but will be switched to my Gorilla 4x8 once ready for flower.

Day 17 from sprout, waiting to get to 8 nodes and then will top while waiting for my 4x8 tent to finish up. Most the plants are doing well, I seem to have a runt though.

Germinated 10/06 Added a little gro and micro as they were showing what looks like early nitrogen deficiency

Germinated 10/06 Not sure what weird leaf deformation is from, probably my VPD or not enough fresh air. The extra nitrogen seems to have helped.

Germinated 10/06 Have not fed since adding the extra gro and micro. I did top the water back up to cover the bottom third of the of net pots. I also topped and stripped the bottom branches.

Germinated 10/06 All plants have been topped twice now, defoliated, and lathered in neem. I turned lights to max setting this morning (slowly been raising 1 tick ever so often). Going to top one more time and then use pipe cleaners for some LST. I fed 3ml per gallon silicate and 1ml per gallon of gro, bloom, and micro. EC was down to around 0.8 - 1.0 before feeding. Ph is starting to fluctuate more now that plants are picking up feeding. Im using between 2-3ml Ph Down to get from 6.5 to 5.8ish. Going to let them go a few days before topping the water back up real high to encourage more root growth in the netpot as I want to make sure they are super stable later on. Moving around in the pot during transfer is not ideal. For anyone interested my "Flora Bloom" mix is the following per 3.79L (1 gallon) - 349.85g - MgSO4 290.04g - KH2PO4 74.07g - KH2PO4 (instead of Dipotassium Phosphate) 47.43g - K2SO4 (instead of Dipotassium Phosphate) I'm going to be running out of FloraMicro soon so I am going to switch to the following - 428.67g - CaNO3 081.91g - KNO3 107.35g - (NH4)2SO4 (instead of NH4NO3) 068.44g - Miller MicroPlex ^ instead of EDTA FE(13%) @ 5,555.55mg/l *3.79 = 21,055.53mg which is 722.37PPM ^^based on same target 0.38ppm FE level replacement + provides micros These are both modified recipes for the FloraTrio from GH available on http://opensalts.wikidot.com/ . I did switch a couple things up so it was more cost effective, NH4NO3 is expensive!

Germinated 10/06 Was removing the fan to check water parameters and the bottom fell off hitting one plant and splitting it down the middle and breaking a branch off. I was able to wrap the trunk in plastic wrap and secure with scotch tape. Been a few days now and seems to be okay. Plants are showing signs of light stress, I am hoping new growth will look good. No feeding this week, but will need it in a couple days, ph had gone up to a little over 6 and ec dropped to 1.2, just topped off all the buckets as planned, leaving about 2-3 inches for air.

Germinated 10/06 Plants have been moved to the 4x8 for a few days, spent this morning getting them to lay down so I can hopefully get a more even canopy. The Runt is now twice the size of the others, 4 are growing nicely, 2 not so much. Runt is probably a keeper, veg growth rate is very nice. I am dosing trio in a 3-2-1 ratio until I flip to flower. Water chiller is now running at 71, will stay there until late in flower when I will turn to 60 to start the fade.

Going to flip to flower once they finish up their current meal since Ive almost got an even canopy. Once they have been in flower for a couple weeks I will do a heavy heavy defol and trim everything below the net, but I have to wait for the humidity to come down as its keeping my temp around 85 degrees, and I don't want the heat stress. Once the humidity is down and I've got the water chiller turned down a bit, shouldn't be a problem. Still dosing trio at 3-2-1, they are eating everything down to .6 EC, and drinking like 30-40 gallons a week. Need to add more silicate once they are done with this round of feeding as well. Lights started at 5 in the big tent, now at 7 (just made change like 3 days ago), going to 8 in a couple days probably when I flip to flower. Then hopefully turn them up to level 9 or 10 the first couple weeks of flower.

Germinated 10/06 Defoliated pretty heavily a few days before the pictures. Have lights cranked up to 8 now. Turned down chiller 2 degrees and humidity down 5%. Changed feeding ratios to 1-1-1 for “Flora Trio”. Quit using Flora Micro and switched to my own blend (see photo). Now using 3 different solutions, Miller Microplex, Calcium / Potassium Nitrate, Ammonium Sulfate. Still same target ppm as FloraMicro, just can’t mix sulfates with Calcium Nitrate so I dose Ammonium Sulfate into my res first and then wait 15 minutes.

5/6 were true mixed gender herms, contacted company, they replied very quickly and asked for questions on conditions and then quit replying after I sent them the link to this grow diary and my proof of purchase. Im just going to switch to running cuts now, have a small plant limit in my state and trying to grow from seed is rough. The one pheno I am trying to reveg so that hopefully I can cut and run it again, the terps are real nice, but it didnt stretch at all really. Plants that hermed were super healthy and stretched beautifully, sad to see this happen.
