The Gelato autoflower was started two days after the Blueberry Cupcakes, so she is behind slightly.
All seeds were started in a cup of room-temperature water, then moved once the seeds cracked to moist paper towels (about 24hrs). They remained here until they had an approximate 1/4" root (about 24-48hrs). Seeds were then directly planted into the 5gal pots.
Measurements taken on on 10/20/22.
BC#1: 2"
BC#2: 1.5"
G: 0.5"
(BC = BLUEBERRY CUPCAKE ; G= GELATO. Plants will retain the same number throughout the grow. See pictures above for visual.)
Our current watering schedule is approx. 4oz/plant/day. We use a spray bottle to administer water while the grow is still in early veg.
We plan to use LST and Topping in tandem with the ScrOG method.
We expect to spend about 4-6 weeks in veg, depending on growth.
There is a heater and a fan set up outside of the grow area to regulate temperature. It's getting colder in the area, so we anticipate possible issues if our heater malfunctions. This will be something to keep an eye on during the grow.
Our Gelato autoflower seed was a freebie from NORTH ATLANTIC SEED CO., planted in some leftover materials (same soil, old 3G pot). This plant is not the focus of the grow and will mostly be left to itself, except for LST.
About the growers:
We are a couple who live in the southwest US.
We are dedicated to growing the highest quality weed that we can.
We are extremely excited for this grow. Blueberry Cupcake has been a strain we've been searching for for over a year now. We believe we were fortunate enough to try a version of its parent strain, Blueberry Muffin, which was marketed at a heavy 38%THC. We've been chasing after this strain ever since, and we think we may have found our true culprit.
