12-03-2022 Day 36
I cleaned out some of the growth in the center of the plant, I do not know why this grow is stressing me so much. on a normal grow I would feel so much better when defoliating. I am just not sure what to trim and what to leave, wish all branching would be at trellis.I am almost considering just growing the plants as i know and use the net as a trellis as i always do!! To make things even more interesting, I am going to try and take some clones of the plant.not sure how this is going to work out! FED
12-04-2022 Day 37
Took 2 clone cuttings off plant # 9 & #10 . I know it might be a little early but i did want to make sure that they root.
The 3 plants are looking healthy. # 11 in particular has really deep green leaves . The leaves have been looking different from the start, I wish she would show the same growth as the other
two . I am laying some of the branches but others are still not close to the trellis.
12-05-2022 Day 38
The girls are doing great, I removed all the tie downs that i was able to see. hope this will let the branches reach the net sooner.A good majority of them are very close . Good Chance that i will flip the light schedule this upcoming weekend. The Clones are looking good hope they will eventually root.
12-06-2022 Day 39
Looking at the girls i don't know if i have the time to wait for the weekend before flipping the lights. The net is filling up at a crazy rate and i am worried that the stretch will bring the plants to the overkill level.when i look at he plants .Ii sure wish # 11 would have grown faster and taller but # 9 seems to have a-lot of the traits # 11 has but is taller. #10 has much lighter leafs then the other 2
12-07-2022. Day 40 Clones Day 3/1
I absolutely hurt the plant some today during training them. I tried to bend each one of the branches without breaking the skin. Pretty sure I was more of less successful doing so. I did halfway break a branch of #11 so i Kept it as a clone. I am not sure if it will take however, it is fairly small comparative to the other 4 clones. The plants are filling up the trellis and I am going to flip the light this weekend even if it might late and I have to add an additional net for the vertical grow once the trellis is filled.
Clones: as far as i can tell they are all alive, will check them by the weekend and see if any roots are visible.
12-08-2022 Day 41 Clones Day 4/2
Most of the branches have recovered but there are a few that still need a day or two. The leaf color difference of # 10 is really dramatic. The leafs are so much lighter then the other 2 plants. # 11 is catching up to the other two plants and in the end might be the keeper. I do think this could for the moment be the first and last time i try the scroog. LOL here I go again. Not sure how many times I have gone from "this is the best ever" to " what am I doing here?"
Clones: no roots showing yet.
12-08-2022 Day 42 Clones Day 5/3(11-5)/1(9-5)
I went in and defoliated pretty heavy below the trellis before initiating Flower tomorrow. Cleaning under the trellis was no fun and at first I has hesitant to remove anything , but then I went back into full Doug mode and got a good majority of the undergrowth. I did leave a few branches that did not reach the trellis yet but are just about there. I tried to alternating twist the shorter branches. I did find a 2-3 branches that had not recovered from the HST , Those i arranged so the leafs are exposed to the light.
I noticed a few of the branches that i have been tucking to grow side growth that should end as bud. Those branches show what a real scroog should look like.
Clones: As far as i can tell none of the clones are showing any signs of rooting. I hope the lights in the tent are not too intense. I accidentally broke a branch off # 9 I cloned it and put it outside next to the auto. should be interesting to see if it likes the light better.
