I've taken some more yellow leaves off from the colas. 50%+ of pistils have turned orange, seems to be flowering more white pistils from the tops of the buds, not sure if this is due to too much light?

Yellow leaves (even sugar leaves). Is this normal this stage in the grow? The buds don't appear to be fattening.

Ciao! Non penso sia una carenza, ma al contrario un burn! Controlla il pH e ppm dell'acqua di scolo e aggiornaci!

It's probably the most asked question (I guess): Do you think she's ready for harvesting.?

Hey pal. So, wk 10 is when your fattening phase ended or thereabouts. With autos is usually 6-7 weeks of flowering (that's from pre flower to full ripen) i see, you had a light stall, by the purple under your leafs you had p issues, which made your progress take a little longer. She did recover very nicely though, so, I don't see why it should do anything than it's already done. (Slowed process) the ripening phase wasn't interrupted and she looks to have came a long way the past week. I see she is very frosty, and just by zooming in I can see she is completely cloudy, or what I can see. If it was me, I'd put her into a soft flush..(allow her to eat what's left in the pot, without adding anymore) Here's 1 of my BM on ripening.. mainly down to fems but, the process is the same, just shorter. This will help. As ripeness can play a big part in how she tastes and harshness wise and that. Have a look. It's interesting read. But, I'd defo not be giving her anything else to eat, as that girl has had her fill, now it's just about getting it the way your like your bud. https://www.edrosenthal.com/the-guru-of-ganja-blog/the-cannabis-ripening-process Good Luck buddy.

Should I increase dark period to 12 hrs (or more)? Is there any evidence this helps autos in the late flowering stage?

light powers growth.. less light = less development (assuming not too much given relative to environment, of course). Only reduce hours of light if it is displaying symptoms of too much light. autos don't require a hormonal response to extended dark periods.. it will do nothing for an autoflower. photoperiods only go into bloom if the dark period is uninterrupted and long enough (10hours is when most wuold bloom, even though we use 12/12 cycles more often... just safer in case of genetic variation. 13/11 is safe too. But, if you provide "max" DLI relative to your environment and stage of plant life cycle, then it doesn't matter if it i s 12 hours or 13 hours or 18 hours of light while doing it.) Anyway, this causes a feedback loop in the plant to trigger a change to bloom phase... autos simply do it on a biological timer. no extended dark period, no hormonal feedback loop involved, therefore, no effect on an autoflower flowering/ripening. Might lose some insignificant % of yield, though... a short period of time with a little less light can't have a huge effect.

Week 7 saw yellowing of leaves start, things got worst by week 9 with all leaves turning yellow. I'm starting to suspect that the plant has died and that the trichomes are not going to mature any further due to this - do I crop now?

Sieht nach überdüngung aus. Die Knospen werden mit der Zeit Dicker. Ich würde nur noch Wasser empfehlen mit ganz wenig Dünger.

@KingSalomonsWeed, Thanks for the replies, I've flushed again two days after first flush. PH is looking better: 7, I've applied a weak tomato feed after the flush. I will stick to just water from now. Maybe a few more flushes as well.

@GreenGnome, Hallo, gib ihnen noch Wasser die letzten 3 Wochen. Dann bekommst du noch sauberes weed.

@KingSalomonsWeed, Should I just continue with another flush, I'm concerned I'll be taking away nutrients that the plant wasn't absorbing whilst PH was so high?

Thank you to all who have taken time to reply. I need to get better at editing the diary! The pot is around 6litres and the HPS light is 300mm from the top of the plant. Light schedule is 19/5. The main problem seems to be the type of pot I used and the lack of appreciating the importance of PH. The pot had recessed drain holes which effectively trapped all the silty runoff inside the lower 2" of the pot along with all the nutrients I've given the plant (mirical Grow for veg and tomato food for flowering). Any run off that made it out of the pot sat around in a small dish below the pot. To remedy I installed a large plastic tray covering whole of tent base and drilled holes at the base of the plant pot. A couple of flushes have now been performed and now the PH is better (7). I've given her a very weak feed of tomato food, but will probably stick to water from now on. Any tips on how frequently I should flush would be appreciated. Thanks.

@KingSalomonsWeed, I greatly appreciate your guidance during this grow. I've followed your advice and given her a 'hair cut'. She's had only plain water for the last 3 weeks and she smells amazing! I've noticed that she's been drinking less water this week - is that normal?

Well I got tired of waiting for the trichomes to change to all cloudy plus 10-20% Amber. For the last two weeks it wasn't really changing and also wasn't taking much water at all. It held up well to the abuse I handed it. From over watering and over feeding, to burning the top with the light and the bottom with high PH, it thankfully provided me with some half decent buds. I'll update with weights after the dry. Thanks to everyone who posted or answered my stupid questions! I can go into my next grow with some very valuable experience and advice. Thank you.
