Seedsman Cali Critical Mass

This pheno was a slow starter. Nodes were very tightly spaced even when I the lights and turned them down. I almost culled this one but decided to use it to play with some creative training instead. I topped her and allowed myself 10 side branches and tried to get the branches evenly spaced apart to from spokes. That would allow me 10 colas with the space for them to be evenly exposed to light. I trimmed them to shape and size then flipped her to flower a month after deciding to train her instead of cull her. At 6 weeks old she was tiny and was still not sexually mature - but she seemed to hit her stride as I started LST and defoliation.

This particular pheno was a slow starter. It may have been something I did when it was small. But whatever the reason, it just seemed like a runt. Nodes were super close and I cut my light strength in half and then also koved the lights up to try and get it to stretch that internodal spacing a little, but 3/4” was about the most I got. I’m not dospleased with the resulting flowers or smoke. The like terps taste straight up like a lime Safty-Pop sucker they used to give out at the banks when I was a kid. It’s a great stoned feeling. But the grow takes a while and for the time invested doesn’t produce that much. I’ll try growing her again next fall and we’ll see if I get a different pheno.
