Had this seed from a freebie last year and tried to germinate. I only tried one of three, and to my surprise in only a day I could see a crack, and it will sprout soon.
It sprouted successfully and is growing great. I placed the seedling's rockwool cube inside a bigger one that fits almost perfectly inside of the net cup, I never used these giant rockwool cubes before, and it became surprisingly heavy after it absorbed the water, I hope I don't have problems with that.
After putting the plant in the DWC bucket, I covered it in foil to minimize algea growth in the rockwool and to experiment if the temperature of the water is not affected by the lights, and to reuse some of the light that would be wasted being absorbed by the bucket.
Not much happening this week, the hydroponics solution is the same as last week as the plant is still too small to eat all of it lol.
But the plant is growing and the progress is fine.
I removed the humity dome, and the overall humidity in the tent started to fall really good, so I added a small donut usb humidifier inside a gallon plastic bottle to increase humidity, but to be honest it might be too small for it, but when the plant is bigger it might be the perfect size and power as the plant take all the space. So I might put the big ass humidifier in the tent this week to come.
The plant is growing a lot this week, so I decided to top it. This is my first time topping an auto plant, it is said that it might shorten the final length but I have a small tent anyway, so it won't be a problem.
