@CRiSPrGrow,
I think your answer was right, for the most part. They were undernourished.
Last grow I pushed them until they burned a little on the tips; this year I wasn't as attentive and kept it at 1/2 strength even as they exploded in growth.
I hit them last night with a "flush" of full strength nutes ON EVERYTHING for week 6 GH drain to waste nute schedule (and my supplement blend). I also added 2 teaspoons of Epson salts per gallon for an unheard of 3.2 EC. I was pretty sure I was going to awaken to tragedy with that hot of a mix.
Not only was there very little evidence of new burn on them today, they seem perkier and the buds are NOTICEABLY fatter since last night.
I was told NEVER to hit cannabis with GH nutes at full strength as it would fry them to a crisp, and that autos in particular were sensitive to too much nutes.
There goes more "common wisdom" down the drain with my 5 gallons of runnoff.
I also upped my PH to 6.0 on the dot as another answer suggested.
As I approach daily feeding, I will likely alternate 5.7,5.8,5.9,6.0, and "maybe" even 6.1, to create a range to make sure we don't miss any micros along the way again.
Thanks again for the advice! It appears to be simple general malnourished state. I will keep it updated.
