Here's a Mephisto Genetic Skystomper seed from the December contest. I can't wait, because this is the first auto-flower I've ever grown. This is going to be awesome!
I've found out that Fox Farm soil isn't the best for seedling because the high nutrient concentration. It's overkill for them, and they get nut-burn as soon as they sprout.
Thank God this plant is doing well. The rich aroma from SkyStomper's flowering phase is every bit worth it. I'm super happy this that this plant will produce enough buds to enjoy.
Day 97, I went ahead and trimmed the top cola off since I found ripe amber colored trichomes in about 10% of the bud. The bottom colas don't have much amber yet, so I'm going to leave them there for a little bit longer to get bigger. The full harvest is coming soon, I can smell it!
Skystomper by Mephisto Genetics is a fantastic strain! Luckily for me that Skystomper is resilient and easy to grow. I made the mistake of using soil that didn't get flushed properly from my last grow. There must have been some harsh nutrients left in that older soil because it really stressed the seedling out and delayed its growth by weeks. This strain does stretch fast once it gets going, and I did notice that it tended to grow about 5 cm a week. I choose to not give this superior strain any extra nutrients during either growing phase. I only watered Skystomper every 3 days and left the lights on for 18 hours until the last couple of weeks where I changed to 20 hours every day. I would recommend growing Skystomper because the aroma is to die for and the THC production is out of control. I'm ready to get high, peace!
I love this strain and I'm so happy to be able to grow it. I've already put another seed in some good Fox Farm Light Warrior soil and I'm ready to make this next grow outstanding!
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, It's funny you ask about the postings, because I usually collect several weeks worth of photos on my iPhone and them put them all up here at once.
