So forgive me as I did not start this journal right away. My first grow with these New EnFun lights. Not use to the power of these light, was a bit to aggressive with the lights and shocked my girls pretty good was not sure they were going to make it. Lights are at %50 now at 30” now. Plants very compact. Trying to fill up entire room.
Really stretching for the lights now. Started LST. Plan to have a nice table top before flower. Doubt they will stretch the same. The BD is looking pure indica. Both POGs are more hybrid looking. Trying to fill space up.
I like to rotate my plants wich is why I don’t use a screen. LST using zip ties only because I had no wire laying around. We’ve had a hospitalized family member so playing ketchup. Pretty much KISS method with nutrients. Right now 1tsp per gallon of rain water. Now I started this little trick outdoor but I add pelletized lime to my soil. My thinking is you need a rage of ph not just one number so I ph my solution down to 5.0 and let the line slowly bring it up. Transplant coming soon
Waited till they got a little root bound on purpose. They will finish in they 10 gallon bags. Wish I had made them instead of buying. These bags sagged bad wich is why there duck taped. Again I get better results when I rotate plants. My soil is roughly %20 home compost manure base with tons of worms %20 topsoil %20 coco and %40 perilite. Watering 1 and 1 with 1 tap maxi grow cal mag plus and ph with silica. And 1 with just rain water. Lights are up %70. Was getting well over 1” of growth per day before trans. Still training out not up.
BIG PROBLEM! Any help appreciated. So on day 18 flower check on the girls and my timer did NOT shut off! Light ran about 2-2.5 hours past? I think I just ruined this whole batch. I guess don’t trust cheap lowes timer but never had this problem? Think pushed one of my bags to far back and pushed up against timer. Did I just ruin my whole grow???? Really sucks one little thing like that can mess you up
Not much to add. Things are running smoothly. Keeping an eye out for hermies, wich is about the only negative thing I’ve heard about Ethos. Super impressed with the genetics so far. They seem a little ahead of schedule
Resin production on the pogs this early in flower is unlike anything I’ve seen. The BD on the other hand is packing on weight! Last week I added .5 teaspoon of Maxigrow and 1/4 teaspoon of the The Flower Fuel. 1/4 teaspoon of CalMag and Silica each. Alternate that with rain water plus molasses. Plants responding very well.
I know I sound like I’m getting paid by Ethos, but I’ve never seen resin production like this! Although Plants very healthy I went ahead and did a flush this week. Lower leaves yellowing wich I think is just nature taking its course. After flush I added 2 teaspoon Maxi, .5 Flower and molasses to 5 gal of rain water. Trichs are getting cloudy. Still seem ahead of schedule, but I start flowering when I actually see the sex wich was approx 11 days after 12/12. Most likely start my flush in 2 weeks
Week 7 of flower. Week 8.5 of 12/12. I start counting when I can see pistols!
So far Planet of the Grapes has been the star but the bud density of banana daddy is now winning. Trichomes of both are insane! Flush coming a started lowering temps at night
Week 8 flower. Banana Daddy is stealing the show! I love growing indicas indoors! Can’t get a decent photo but it purpling up nice. Temps getting down in mid 50s and both are getting close. Watered with molasses only!
Both strains just starting to show amber! And both are getting very purple. Harvest time soon! I like a 2 week flush with a few molasses in between. Lots of good bud porn this week.
I can’t say enough good things about this strain! INDICA INDICA INDICA! Reminds me a lot of Nirvanas Aurora Indica “Cherry Pheno” wich I also highly recommend! There may be different phenos as I only grew one but this is definitely a keeper. If I was growing only these I would have vegged for 2 more weeks at least. Not much stretch! Approx %35-40. Very berry smelling! This grow was simply to pass on some knowledge to a friend. Usually I would start at least 10 seeds per strain but this wasn’t an option! So I’m not sure if I got lucky and had a really good pheno?
I tried a sample after 1 week cure. VERY INDICA! Giggly, Happy, Sleepy! This plant didn’t look like it was gonna be all that growing along with PTOG but it caught and PASSED. If I had to say anything negative the trichome coverage was very good but not INSANELY good!
