Growing very nicely. I've not added any nutrients at all. Using miracle grow organic soil (no nutrients added to the base soil at all by the manufacturer)

Over zealous with my LST and broke a side branch. Have stuck it back in with some cellotape, it's wilting and probably a gonner. Hey ho. Growth is good, I've added another spider farmer sf1000 and it is like light and day. When I turn it off and go back to 1 sf1000 it seems so dark!

LST has gone well, branches are as far away from the middles as I can get them. Very happy so far, however grow costs are creeping up with the heater and two spider farmer sf1000s. No leaf issues, it's paid off not using any nutrients at all so far. Just tap wate which is hard where I am. Signs of pre flowers....will add 1/4 recommended flowering nutrients, probably at the end of the coming week.

Good growth and upward spurt in full swing with the pre-flower sites lengthening. No more LST now. Water consumption is about a litre a day. But.....a couple of leaves have some brown spots!!!!! Arghhhhhh. Perhaps the base soils nutrients were dying off? Who knows, started flower nutrients at a 1/4 strength. Fingers crossed no more brown spots.

Good growth. Look - 10cm in a week. Lower leaves slowly dying off and the brown spots have spread to some of the lower leaves but it's looks okay ish. Got an autopot and seeing how that goes. Should have waited till the next grow however I always get carried away.

Lots of nutrients burn. I think it's okay now but I stress the word 'think'. The brown spots on the edges of the leaves seemed to have abated. All coming on nicely though. Autopot working wonders. The plant seems to be getting through 1.5 litres a day.

Hi All, As per the title, the plant looks great to me (week 9), but I do wonder whether I should defoliate? I'm running 200w of LEDs for the one plant so no shortage of light. I realise 200w is rather over the top based on the daily light integral. Thoughts?

Defoliation after day 21 of flower is counter productive big time, you want the plant to use All of it's energy to produce flowers and not recuperating from defoliation, use some sticks to create a bit of space between them and just tlet nature takes it's course...Good luck they look great keep it simple..

All going well, consuming a lot of water compared to my previous 2 grows, which I expect is a good sign. For my first grow I just used Blumat cones. This caused the roots to congregate on the cones and they subsequently got nutrient damage, the grow went okay but water consumption was low as blumats can only deliver 200ml per day and I only had 3 in place. For my 2nd grow I manually watered top down and consumption was around 1l in the mid to late stages. With the autopot used in this grow water usage is a lot higher. I've noted 2l a day but it's possibly higher as it's harder to measure. Perhaps it's purely the genetics but anecdotally it suggests I was under watering before. I very much recommend the autopots for the lazy gardener!

Bobbing along, no vertical growth this week. A little more leaf tip nutrient damage so I diluted the nutrient water down. A few brown pistils, say 5 %, if I was a betting man I'd say 3 weeks till harvest. Expect my crystal ball prediction will be well off the mark!

Umm, a strange week in growville. I dropped the additional light I added about 7 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure I was bleaching the plant and subsequent to removal of the extra light I now have about an extra inch of growth in each main stem! Definitely suggests I was overdoing it 'proper newbie style'. The new growth is a much deeper green compared the the blanched leaves below. Oh well, live and learn.

Nervous about harvesting! Again.. 14 weeks for an auto flower and I'm not sure whether to chop or not? Data sheet for Royal Runtz is 10-11 weeks. I'm so vague as to whether the trichomes are transparent or milky. Thoughts...?

Not quite there super close though I would guess about 1 more week. They still look pretty clear id let them get a little more milky and wait for some more amber to come in. 20% amber is just about perfect for most people that like a mostly head high with a slight body relaxation. They look great so far though 👍

Great yield, I'll see how it comes out after drying. 800g trimmed wet. This is my 3rd plant and the 2nd with LST. LST, so far, does increase yield (I'll mess up at some point though!!) I didn't wait for amber trichomes as I had to make way for the next plant. All pretty milky though. Fingers crossed..
