Hey there man. Did you get Hydroguard yet? If the night temperature is that high I can’t even imagine day time temperature. Have you thought about investing in a chiller? Or you can use a peltier cooler with a probe to cool down your res water. I don’t recommend H2O2 as it eradicated all the microbes including beneficials. If it’s too much, I recommend doing coco grow. It’s really easy and it grows about the same speed as actually growing in DWC. I am doing a side by side compare at this moment with a grow I have. I am also using a peltier cooler to cool down my 5 gal DWC bucket.

Ok, so you look like you have a superbox, or supercloset? Take a look at my grow. You need to either fill those other cups up with the rocks or cover them with tinfoil to block out the light/heat/excess plant material. All of that will cause root rot, so cover asap. You can get plugs for the other watering tubs from a hydro store or large box hardware store like lowes or home depot. I was lazy so I just filled mine with rocks. You should be top watering like 2 15min intervals a day, don't let that rockwool get dry. Next, go easy on the nutrients, when you start, do like 1/4 strength. Make sure your air stones are all the way up high (adjustable knob on top of air pump). Next, if you have a problem with heat, move air pump out the back, the tubes will just barely reach if you turn your water basin around. Next, keep an eye on the top feeding pump connection, once it gets a little slimy in there the tube slips off easily (at least it did with mine). Make sure all the tubes enter the basin in the correct spots, they like to move around when you open the basin and if you close it, it can pinch the air tubes by accident. So check those every time you lift the basin. Also you will need to do your best at emptying that basin every week and giving it more water and nutes. Get some hydroguard asap and add to your basin, it will help with root rot and high temps. Keep an eye on ph levels, and when you adjust it, do it in small amounts. I have a lot of other helpful suggestions, but this should keep you going for a while. My temps got too hot in there with the door closed, so I had to keep it open. Good luck with your grow!

@TomatoloverBoy, try Advanced Nutes PH perfect 3 part series. It’s pretty simple to use and keeps ph 5.5-6.2 using RO water with ppm less than 100. Works well for me.

@Dustinten, I sent you a private message, you access them by clicking on the little paper airplane at bottom right (on the website), not sure about the app.

Now if you are bold, read up on defoliation and try to remove some of the top bigger fan leaves to allow more light for the lower ones, just don't go crazy and remove too much. Don't remove any leaves that are directly under a little bud that is forming, just the big 5 or more tipped fan leaves. The plant will take some time to recover so do it all at once and then let her be.

Wow, plant turned our pretty impressive! Might want to try to train that one top cola towards the the back of the cabinet, else it's going to touch your light and get a little toasted. Noce job!!

Can you post your nutrients that you are giving? She looks like she's needing more potassium or zinc, what kind of water are you using, does it have a high amount of chlorine?

Looking good bro, keep it up!

Lol, nice. Actually there is a way to add each nutrient and amount to your grow, that's what I was speaking about.

@Dustinten So to answer your question about when to switch to 12/12 light (and I'm basing this on the fact that I looked up your strain and it says it is a photoperiod strain), the other diaries seem to switch at the end of 6 weeks, however we have to account for at least 1 week of nutrient lockout due to the root damage. Imo, I would wait 3 more weeks and see how well she recovers. But I suggest you look at several other diaries on here that are growing (or completed) the same strain. Find one that has a decent yield, then look at how big the plant was when they switched light schedule, and match it to yours. You will have to take into account the lighting as well, assume if they have better lights, theirs will probably be larger, etc. At least that is how I try to figure out these things. Look at other diaries with the same strains. Good luck!

So...get that hydroguard in there, it can be saved. I would swap out bottles of frozen water as well if you can. Also, leave the door open if you can and put a floor fan blowing towards it to see if you can cool it down even a few more degrees. That should recover those roots as best as you can at this point. Just have to be patient and let the hydroguard do its thing.

Guys i dont know if its an option but i started my grow in aeroponics, but once bigger transferred into Coco coir/Perlite mix, might be not a bad option it dosnt become as critical then for temp controls on the rootsm and i was suprised how my results were as i really thought they would be stressed and they recovered well. its so hot and humid everywhere just now i am not suprised people are having problems.

Please post root pics, I know it feels embarrassing or whatever, but it will help out with fixing the issue, not to mention we can compare root pics once you pull through it. I did the exact same thing on my grow, my roots were in brown town bro. I was insistent that it was just bad lighting, but I got schooled and now I'm here to help you out. ;)

@Dustinten Hello, so it should say right on the back of the hydroguard bottle, shake the bottle well, then add 2ml per gallon of water in your reservoir. You can also get this from their website. It takes some time, like a week or 2, so don't add more, just the recommended amount. You will just have to be patient. Make sure you flush the whole basin out and ph the water with nutrients to 5.8. So when you get root rot, you get nutrient lock out. That will kill the bottom leaves. I have seen people pull the plant back from bad cases of root rot. Make sure your air stones are on the highest setting (to keep as much oxygen in water as possible). Also, you can start rotating frozen water bottles in there to bring the temperature down. Just drop a frozen water bottle (remove the paper label and glue) in the basin 2 or 3 times a day if you can. I think I also mentioned to make sure the lid is not pinching the air tubes (this happened to me multiple times). Hang in there, let the hydroguard do its thing.

@Dustinten you are off to a really good start. Plant looks health and happy. One comment though, fill up the empty (ones with no plant) net cups a little higher with the stones, you can still see a few areas where light is getting to your water basin. Great job man!
