Three different strains from LIT Farms (https://litfarms.com). Check them out if you haven't heard of them. Looks like they have some fire 🔥 genetics. I'm about to find out!!
12/30/2022: Started all of the seeds in a cup of distilled water, with a splash of hydrogen peroxide for 24 hours.
12/31/2022: moved into a damp paper towel, using the same water/hydrogen peroxide mix the seeds soaked in.
1/1/2023: 5 of 6 seeds germinated and are showing a small tail. The Frozen White Runtz,
Ice Bath, and 3 out of 4 of the Grand Prix. Still planted all 6. The Grand Prix #4 is the one that was not showing a tail yet. Still holding out hope. Only plan to plant 2 of the Grand Prix, so I'm not concerned yet. Hopefully I get two female!!! Planted all the seeds into a solo cup, filled with BuildASoil Light, and watered with ThermX-70, Rootwise Micro Complete, and some fresh aloe juice from an aloe plant in my back yard. My daughter got to pick the color of the solo cups, so looks like we are using pink, haha. Added a light mulch layer of barley straw, and put in my tent under 18 hours of light.
1/3/2023: the same seeds that cracked two days ago broke the surface today, so I'm calling this Day 1. I checked the Grand Prix #4 and decided to cut my losses and throw in a new seed directly into the cup. We'll see if this one pops and can catch up.
1/5/2023 - Day 3: The five seeds that germinated look healthy. The Grand Prix 3 has some leaf curl on it's first set of leaves, but I'm not worried. Still nothing from Grand Prix 4. Cups are all still wet enough so not much else to do but wait at this point. They have been averaging about 85° with 80% RH.
1/6/2022: the new Grand Prix 4 has germinated, but it has not pushed through the soil yet. I cand see the soil bulging, so I'm thinking tomorrow! The other 5 are looking good and the cover crop on the bed is coming in strong.
1/7/2023: The replacement Grand Prix #4 sprouted! Now let's hope I get at least two female of the Grand Prix for the 3x3. It's a waiting game now.

1/9/2023 - Day 7: did a very light foliar feed with some Pure Protein Dry organic fish fertilizer 15-1-1, fresh aloa, and ThermX-70. Mixed this up for some other plants but figured I'd give the girls a light misting. Other than that I have not done anything else, other than moving the plants back into my 2x4 to veg in here for now. My 4x4 is in my drying room, so temps are lower than I'd like at this stage, so this will be there new home for the next couple weeks.
1/13/2023 - Day 11 veg: All plants are coming along nicely. Cups still have some weight, so I still haven't watered, other than the real light foliar feed the other day. Temps have been about 80° during the day and 70° at night, with humidity holding steady around 85%, which is probably the main reason I haven't had to water. So far so good!
1/14/2023 Day 12: noticed a few fungas gnats flying around, so I sprayed everything down with some Dr. Zymes Eliminator. I'm assuming the gnats came from the Earth Box I recently added to the tent for a few more auto's i started. Sprayed the soil and the leaves, so this was the first watering since the seeds were planted.

1/16/2023 - Day 14: not much new to report. All 6 plants are continuing to look healthy. The Grand Prix seem to be a bit smaller than the Frozen White Runtz and Ice Bath. They all look good though.
1/18/2023 - Day 16: clipped a leaf off each Grand Prix to send it in for a genetic test to determine the sex. I used Farmer Freeman. Nothing else to report at this time.
1/20/2023 - Day 18: watered all 6 plants and foliar fed with the same water. Ph was 6.6, and mixed with ThermX-70, FishShit, Rootwise Micro Complete, Pure Protein Dry organic fish fertilizer, BuildASoil Big 6, Rootwise Enzyme Elixer, Fermented Comfrey Extract, and Yah-Whey Thrive. I know I went crazy, but might as well use it if I have it.
1/21/2023 - Day 19: Plants are looking happy. They obviously loved the feeding yesterday

1/23/2023 - Day 21 Veg: Transplanted all 6 into 1 gallon pots. Still using BuildASoil Light soil and watered in with a compost tea. Gave them a foliar feed with the teas as well. They all look good so far, but we will have to see what they look like tomorrow. Dropped the intensity on the light to about 50%, and I plan to increase it again tomorrow if they are all looking healthy.
1/24/2023 - Day 22: First day after transplant and all the plants are looking good.
1/26/2023 - Day 24 veg: got the genetic test back today and ended up with 2 male and 2 female Grand Prix, which is perfect. Number 1 and 4 are males, and 2 and 3 are females. I was a little bummed #1 was male, because it was already getting some funk, but what can you do. Giving it to a friend who might use it for some breeding, so I'll still get to see how he turns out.
1/27/2023 - Day 25 veg: watered the 4 remaining plants with ThermX-70, FishShit, Fermented Comfrey Extract,Yah-Whey, and fresh aloe juice. Gave them a foliar feed with this as well. Also, lowered the light to about 26 in away from the plants to bring the ppfd to about 500. They are really starting to pick up speed now that they are in the new 1 gallon pots.
1/28/2023 - Day 26 veg: Topped all four today.

1/30/2023 - Day 28: beginning of week 4. All plants are doing great. They all seemed to react great to the first topping. The two Grand Prix are definitely more stretchy. The Ice Bath and Frozen White Runtz already have some nice braching starting, but they have a slight droop today. Think I may have slightly over watered. I'll give them all a few days to dry down. Will be transplanting into their final 3x3 bed in another week or two. Just chopped and dropped the cover crop last week, so letting that mulch in a bit first.
2/1/2023 - Day 30 veg: mov3d the plants into the 3x3, but just placed them on top of the bed for now. Foliar fed all four plants with 6.5 ph water and Pure Protein Dry.
2/2/2023 - Day 31: watered with a mix of ThermX-70, Rootwise Mycrobe Complete, FishShit, BuildASoil Big 6, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and Yah-Whey.
2/3/2023 - Day 32: started my weekly IPM. Foliar spayed each plant with warm water mixed with Tweetmint Plant Wash. Also, the droop I was experiencing the other day, which I thought was the plants being thirsty, may have been something else. I think they might be slightly overwatered. They still have been drooping and the growth seems to have slowed. Letting them dry out more before I water again. I would like them to be a little healthier before transplanting again.
2/5/2023 - Day 34: all the pots were feeling light today, so I watered all 4. Water was a ph of 6.5, mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja Extract, Yah-Whey, and FishShit. I also checked the roots before watering and they are ready to transplant. I did not have enough time today, but plan to get then into the 3x3 bed next week.

2/6/2023 - Day 35: After the watering yesterday the girls perked up, but they were already getting dry again. I was originally planning on waiting longer to transplant, but I felt like they were out growing their 1 gallon pots. Also, after checking their roots I could tell they were ready, so I transplanted today. Watered in with about 1.5 gallons at 6.4 ph. I know they say you don't need to ph water in a large bed like this, but my water is really bad here. At times it can be over 8 ph out of the tap. Mixed my water with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Micro Complete, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, fresh aloa juice from my garden, and BuildASoil Big 6 Micro nutrients.
2/10/2023 - Day 39 Veg: now that the plants are in the 3x3 bed, there is much less maintenance. I'm using an Ecowitt to track the soul moister. It started at 33% when I watered on Monday, and is at 33% today. I want to let it drop below 30% before watering again. I did do my weekly IPM spray today, using Dr. Zymes Eliminator. Also, I noticed some slight leaf discoloration, so I added some Pure Protein Dry and BuildASoil Big 6 micronutrients to the foliar spray, which I sprayed at lights out. A had a small amout of the mix left after all plants were sprayed, so i used it to slightly mist the top soil. Not sure I'd the discoloration is the start of a deficiency or just left over from the under watering last week. Figured the foliar feeding wouldn't hurt either way.
2/12/2022 - Day 41: Soil moisture dropped to 30% today, so I watered with a worm casting tea. Added some Rootwise Micro Complete, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja. Watered about 8 liters and gave the plants a foliar feed with the tea as well. All of the plants look pretty good. The Grand Prix 2 has some leaf curl and I'm not sure what is causing it, since the other 3 aren't showing similar symptoms. Thought it might be light or heat stress, since it is the tallest plant, so I raised the light and dropped the high temp down a few degrees. Also, the Frozen White Runtz is the smallest of all 4 and seems to be growing slow. We'll have to see how they all respond to the tea.

2/13/2023 - Day 42: Start to week 6. Overall the plants are doing good, except the weird tip curling and yellowing. Initially i thought it may be either under or over watering, but the soil seems good. Not too wet or too dry. Then I thought possibly nitrogen toxicity, but the leaves don't look overly green. I now think it may be heat or light related, so I lowered the power on the light and raised it up a few inches. I also lowered the temp in the tent a few degrees. It could also be the new soil is a bit too hot still, and I've been throwing the kitchen sink at them, so I plan to just water with plain water the next few times and hopefully they will grow out of this. Plan to add the trellis net this week and start spreading the tallest plants out.
2/14/2023 - Day 43: Added the trellis net and did some light defoliation on the lowest part of a few plants. Plan to do more of a major defoliation next time I water. Also, the new growth appears ro be doing better, so I think raising the light fixed the problem.
2/16/2023 - Day 45: watered about 3.5 gallons, which is about 5% of the volume of the bed. I'm pretty sure the leaf curl I was seeing was a combination of light or heat stress, and slightly too much nitrogen, which is likely from the foliar spayed I was doing. Considering this, I decided to add a few things to the water. I mixed in ThermX-70, Comfrey Extract, Yah-Whey, FishShit, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and BuildASoil Big 6. I also did some additional defoliating to allow for some additional light penetration into the middle of the plants. Just started bending the tallest branches under the scrog net as well. Let's hope the girls have a positive reaction.
2/18/2023 - Day 47: did my weekly IPM. Foliar sprayed with distilled water mixed with BuildASoil EM-5. Also, realized I made a slight mistake. When I turned the lights up the other day, I never turned the schedule back on, so the lights have been on for 3 days straight. Luckily, the plants are still in veg, and they seemed to handling it well. The Grand Prix 3 had some minor leaf curling on the edges of some leaves, bit otherwise they still look good. They are back on 18/6 now.

2/21/2023 - Day 50: Starting pre-bloom this week. Changed the light from 18/6 to 16/8. Also, started adding my bloom nutrients. Watered about 3.5 gallons and threw a little bit of everything in today. Started with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja as a wetting agent, then added Rootwise Micro Complete, Enzyme Elixer, and Bio-Phos, BuildASoil Big 6, BuildABloom, Coconut Powder, Pure Protein Dry, Yah-Whey, Fermented Comfrey and Fermented Peach. Also top dressed with some BuildAFlower.
2/23/2023 - Day 52: not much to report. Plants are doing great, and seem to like the slightly cooler temps lately. Mainly just been tucking branches under the scrog screen and doing some super cropping in an attempt to keep my canopy even.
2/24/2023 - Day 53: gave the plants their weekly IPM, with a foliar spray at lights out of warm distilled water and BuildASoil EM-5. This is also to clean the leaves in preparation for the flip to flower next week.
2/26/2023 - Day 55: last day of veg. Officially flipping to flower tomorrow. The scrog screen is pretty full, other than the Frozen White Runtz, which is barely reaching the screen. Hoping it will catch up more during stretch. Also, plan to put a second layer of trellis on.

Week 8 - Day 1 of Flower: flipped to 12/12 today. Also gave them about 4 gallons of water. The first two gallons was a Sprouted Seed Tea (SST), and the other two gallons was Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja as a wetting agent, then added Rootwise Enzyme Elixer, and Bio-Phos, BuildASoil Big 6, BuildABloom, Coconut Powder, Pure Protein Dry, Fermented Comfrey and Fermented Peach.
3/3/2023 - Day 5 Flower: made up a foliar spray of Tweetmint and warm water and spayed the plants at lights out for their weekly IPM. Also, they needed to be watered again. I made another SST and mixed in the same ingredients as the last watering, but I did not add the fermented Comfrey or Peach, but I added the Yah-Whey this time. Also, added some TeaCo Super Tea blend and some FishShit as well. Loaded the girls up for their stretch.

3/6/2023 - Day 8 Flower: Not a lot to report. The girls are definitely stretching. Grew about 10 inches in the last week. Did a light foliar today with some Pure Protein Dry. Figured with the significant growth they could use a little extra nitrogen. Even with the recent stretch, I've been real pleased with the node spacing. Looking like they are going to stack real nice. They a drinking much faster now too. They will need to be watered again tomorrow, so they are drinking about 8 gallons a week. Other than some very minimal tip yellowing of a few leaves, thay look healthy as can be.
3/7/2023 - Day 9: watered with 4 gallons of 6.5 ph water. Added Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja as a wetting agent, then added Rootwise Enzyme Elixer, and Bio-Phos, BuildASoil Big 6, BuildABloom, Coconut Powder, Fermented Comfrey and Fermented Peach. I skipped the Pure Protein Dry this time, since I just foliar fed them with it yesterday.
3/9/2023 - Day 11: Added the second layer of trellis netting. I may need to lower it, but I want to wait and see how much more they stretch. Otherwise, everything else looks great.
3/10/2023 - Day 12: lowered the trellis net today and lolipopped the girls. Also watered 6 gallons today, mixing in Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja as a wetting agent, then added TeaCo Super Tea Blend, Recharge, Rootwise Enzyme Elixer, BuildASoil Big 6, BuildABloom, Coconut Powder, Yah-Whey Thrive, and Pure Protein Dry. Today was the first sign of some preflower.
3/12/2023 - Day 14 Flower: the plants did not like something about the last watering. The newest growth is having some severe curling and I discoloring. I'm thinking it has to be either the TeaCo or Recharge, but I've never had problems with either of those before. They were the only thing different about my last watering. They will need to be watered again tomorrow, so I plan to ease up on the nutrients, and definitely will not be adding anymore TeaCo or Recharge. Hopefully they can grow out of this and it doesn't get worse!

3/13/2024 - Day 15 Flower: Ran into some issues after the last watering. The newest leaves have some severe curling going on, and I've had a few leaves with some minor brown spotting. I'm not 100% sure what caused it, but narrowed it down to either TeaCo Super Tea, Recharge, or the foliar spray I did with Dr. Zymes Eliminator. I did the foliar at lights out, but maybe there was still some residue when the light came back on. Either way, I'm taking it easy on this watering. Gave them 4 gallons of 6.5 ph water mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Coconut Powder, and a half dose of Rootwise Bio-Catalyst and Yah-Whey. The curling does not seem ro be getting worse, so hopefully they will grow out of this. Also, they have started to slow on rhe stretching, which is good, because they are getting close to the light.
3/14/2023 - Day 16 Flower: So I've been looking at some of the more deformed leaves and I'm pretty sure the leaf curl and brown is from the Dr. Zymes. The leaves with issues appear to have a slight glossy residue to them. I'm guessing when the Dr. Zymes dried on the leaves, it had a reaction when the light came back on. Now that I'm into week 3 of flower, I plan to cut out any foliar sprays, so hopefully I'm right an the issue won't get worse. I had some seeds that I sprouted and forgot to use yesterday, so I made a 2 gallon Sprouted Seed Tea (SST) and added some Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Bio-Phos, and a half dose of Fermented Comfrey Extract and Fermented Peach Extract.
3/16/2023 - Day 18 Flower: plants are looking good. Flowers are starting to develop and I'm already seeing the beginning of some tricomes. Stretch appears to be just about done, so hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here. The curling from last week has not gotten any worse.
3/17/2023 - Day 19 Flower: watered about 6 gallons of worm tea I brewed for about 24 hours. Added some Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, BuildASoil BuildABloom, and Rootwise Bio-Catalyst. Also, did some minor defoliation of some of the larger fan leaves blocking lower bud sights. Still need to do more, but I plan to spread it out over a few days.
3/18/2023 - Day 20 Flower: Cleaned them all up real good. Took off all the large fan leaves, except for the top two, and cut off basically anything on the lower half of the plant. May have gone a little higher than I would have liked, now that I'm seeing it done, but too late now. Normally, i only like to take off about 1/3, but i guess we will see what happens when the bottom half is stripped. Always learning around here, haha. Hopefully I should have very little popcorn buds.

3/20/2023 - Day 22 Flower: So far the plants look like they handled the big defoliation just fine. Nice and healthy and they are all preying. Seeing the first signs of some tricomes.
3/22/2023 - Day 24 Flower: watered 4 gallons of water at at a 6.6 ph mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja as a wetting agent, Rootwise Enzyme Elixer, and Bio-Phos, BuildASoil Big 6, BuildABloom, Coconut Powder, Pure Protein Dry, Fermented Comfrey and Fermented Peach. Not much to report. Plan to keep the plants on 12/12 for one more week, then drop to 11 hours on and 13 hours off for the final weeks of flower.
3/26/2023: watered 4 gallons mixed with ThermX-70, BuildABloom, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, coconut powder, and Yah-Whey Thrive. Went lighter on the nutrients today. Figured I've gone heavy enough for a while, so a lighter feeding couldn't hurt. Overall, the frost is coming on and the flowers are starting to add some weight. Other than the leaf curl issue from a couple weeks ago, everything else continues to go smoothly.

3/28/2023 - Day 30 Flower: moving into mid flower and all the plants look good. Starting to put on some weight and stack up. Tricomes are really starting to develop and they are starting to smell. Switching to 11 hours on and 13 hours off today, but have the lights cranked up 100%. Not seeing any signs of deficiencies, so hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here.
3/30/2023 - Day 32 Flower: watered again today with 4 gallons. Added another sprouted seed tea, with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Bio-Phos and Bio-Catalyst, BuildASoil Big 6 and BuildABloom, Fermented Peach Extract, and coconut powder. Everything else is looking great. Flowers are stacking and adding more frost every day. Not too much of a smell yet, but the Grand Prix 2 is starting to smell like something special. Still too early to say exactly, but I'm excited to see how she develops.
4/1/2023 - Day 34 Flower: not much to report today. The plants look great. The only thing I noticed is it looks like the Grand Prix 3 is showing signs of some purple in some of the leaves. The stem still looks green, so I don't think this is related to any kind of deficiency. I think it's just some color starting to come through in mid flower. I'll try to add a picture above.
4/2/2023 - Day 35 Flower: watered 4 gallons of water, mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Coconut Powder, and Yah-Whey Thrive.

4/3/2023 - Day 36 Flower: Just watered yesterday so not much to report. The living soil bed makes this stage very easy. Basically, I'm on autopilot at this point.
4/5/2023 - Day 38 Flower: watered again today with 4 gallons, mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Bio-Phos and Bio-Catalyst, BuildASoil Big 6 and BuildABloom, Fermented Peach Extract, and Coconut Powder.
4/7/2023 - Day 40 Flower: Plants look great and are starting to smell more. The Grand Prix #2 continues to be the stinkiest and has the most frost. Has a slight grape smell, but still too early to really nail it down. Both Grand Prix are showing some purple in the leaves as well.
4/9/2023 - Day 42: watered about 3.5 gallons today, mixed with ThermX-70, Coconut Powder, and Yah-Whey Thrive.

4/10/2023 - Day 43: just watered yesterday so nothing really new to report. They are really starting to smell now. Hits you right in the nose when I open the tent. Seeing more purple on the Grand Prix and some pistol browning on all the plants. Only minor problem I've had is the heat. It was almost 100° today, but my three fans and the exhaust have kept the temp under control for the most part. Had to turn on the AC for the assist, but kept temps at 80° in the tent.
4/13/2023 - Day 46 Flower: Not much has changed and I haven't had to do anything, so I haven't provided an update in a few days. Had to water again today. Added 4 gallons mixed with the same things I've been using. Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja as a wetting agent, Rootwise Bio-Phos and Bio-Catalyst, BuildASoil Big 6 Micro Nutrients and BuildABloom, Fermented Peach Extract, and Coconut Powder.
4/15/2023 - Day 48: I think the warmer weather has caused the girls to drink more. Watered another 4 gallons today, but just plane water with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja. Seeing more purple on the two Grand Prix. Seeing a lot more orange pistols as well. The Grand Prix #2 has like a citrus gas smell, and the Frozen White Runtz is like a sweeter gas. The Ice Bath is earthy, and the Grand Prix #3 does not have a strong scent, but the bud structure is my favorite of all four.

4/17/2023 - Day 50 Flower: Start to week 8. Everything is still progressing as expected with no problems. Plan to go an extra day or two between watering to cause some extra stress in hopes of resulting in better tricome and terpene production. Not sure if this actually makes a difference, but why not try.
4/19/2023 - Day 52 Flower: finally watered for the first time this week. This will likely be my last watering using the majority of the supplements I've been using. Will be water with a small amount of coconut powder from here on out. Also plan to start dropping the light intensity next week. Today I watered 4 gallons again and made another sprouted seed tea. Mixed in Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Bio-Phos and Bio-Catalyst, BuildASoil Big 6 Micro Nutrients and BuildABloom.
4/20/2023 - Day 53: Happy 4/20!!!!
4/22/2023 - Day 55 Flower: watered today with about 3 gallons of water mixed with Coconut Powder and 2 gallons with molasses. Also, dropped the light intensity from full power down to level 8. The tallest colas are still only about 8 inches from the light, so my average DLI is still in the 40's. Want to bring this down a bit more in the next week or two.

4/24/2023 - Day 57: Start to week 9 of flower. Turned my portable AC on in my lung room to bring temps down. Running at about 76° with the lights on and about 68° for lights out. Also, still running the light at 80% power. Starting to see more purple, and just waiting for everything to ripen up. They are really putting off some strong scents now as well.
4/25/2023 - Day 58 Flower: watered with 4 gallons mixed with Coconut Powder.
4/27/2023 - Day 60 Flower: they are all starting to fade. Mainly seeing purple still. They still need another few weeks until they are where I want them.
4/29/2023 - Day 62 Flower: they continue to fade to a nice purple and the smell when I open the tent is fruity gas. They are not drinking as much anymore. Taking an extra day or two between waterings.
4/30/2023 - Day 63 Flower: watered 4 gallons of water mixed with 1 tbsp Coconut Powder. Also, took a close look at the tricomes today. They are mainly all cloudy, with maybe 5% amber at this point. Still think I have another two weeks before I'll be ready to harvest.

5/1/2023 - Day 64 Flower: Beginning of week 10. Girls continue to fade. Dropped the light intensity one more notch to level 7 and keeping temps lower. Other than that, just watering as needed.
5/4/2023 - Day 67 Flower: watered with 4 gallons of water mixed with Coconut Powder. Seeing some pinks and more purple. Still not seeing much more amber tricomes, so I want to push these another week to 10 days.

5/8/2023 - Day 71: Start to week 11, and this will be the final week. Watered again today with 4 gallons mixed with Coconut Powder. I'm getting close to 5% to 10% amber, so I am just about where I want to be. I plan to chop them this weekend, which will put me at day 76 or 77. The two Grand Prix could probably go I bit longer, but the Ice Bath and Frozen White Runtz need to come down.
5/12/2023 - Day 75 Flower: chopping in two more days. Dropped the temps a bit more and turned the light down one more. Normally I'd be watering, but I'm just going to let them ride it out until the end.

Chopped on 5/14/2023, which was day 77 of flower. This plant was the smallest of the three strains, but has some nice golf ball size nugs.
The Grand Prix were definitely the most moody of the bunch, but overall they were not too difficult to grow. Growing in 80 gallons of soil also helps. Can't wait to see how these smoke!
