Wizude First cycle of cultivation. This week I had some problems with which light to use and distance, I ended up exaggerating the light on day 4 which ended up stopping growth and also burning one of the plants, as can be seen in the images. I went back and am currently using only the 50W full spectrum light. pt-BR Primeiro ciclo de cultivo. Retrocedi e estou usando nesse momento apenas a luz full spectrum 50W.

Wizude I still don't know for sure but I believe the problem I've had the last week with the light was actually an attack of red spider mites or thrips, which was made worse by the excessive light. I used neen oil for the pests on Sunday, apparently they've been eliminated. I continue to use the 50w full spectrum lamp and this week I added the Flowermind organic fertilizer, it is a Brazilian brand that only sells in Brazil so people from other countries will not be able to find it. I think I had a delay in development because of these problems, but I believe that adding another week to the growing season will be enough to get the plants ready for flowering, let's see. pt-BR Ainda não sei ao certo mas acredito que o problema que tive na última semana com a luz na verdade foi um ataque de ácaros aranha vermelha ou trips, que foi agravado pela luz exessiva.

Wizude The problem with the pests persists, plant 01 has root mites, I used neen oil again to try to contain it, it seems to have worked, I'm following along. On the 20th I applied a complete watering of 400ml to each plant with Flowermind liquid fertilizers, Flowermind rock blend and Smart Roots rootizer, below I describe the composition of each one, it seems that was all that the plants needed, they were growing a average of 0.5 cm for plant 01 and 0.25 cm for plant 02. From day 20 to day 21, plant 01 grew 2 cm and plant 01 grew 1 cm, surprising. A little information Quantum Board + full spectrum lamp 70 cm away 15700 lux 250 PPFD Both according to iPhone Photone app According to what I've read on some blogs, the ideal at this stage is 15000 to 50000 lux and 300 to 600 PPFD, I think I'll keep this week at 70 cm and if I notice that the plants are needing low to obtain higher values. This next week is going to be challenging, here the heat really reached an average of 30 degrees Celsius and I don't have air conditioning so I'll always keep a bottle of cold water to try to lower at least 2 degrees. Fertilizers - Liquid Flowermind - class A organic residues of fruits and vegetables, urea, phosphoric acid and potassium hydroxide.

Wizude Pests are really resistant, both plants with spider mites and now with Fungus Gnats. To get rid of the Fungus Gnats I applied Diatomatic Earth all over the soil as you can see in the most recent photos, it seems to have worked I didn't see any mites or Fungus Gnats the day after the application. On the 27th I did top pruning on one of the plants and LST on both, I want to test cultivation with and without top pruning to see the difference. I removed both dead leaves from the bottom, almost a lollipop pruning. a little information Quantum Board + full spectrum lamp 40 cm away 24000 lux 450 PPFD Both according to iPhone Photone app Heat continues to punish the plants, the grow is always between 28 and 30 degrees celsius. As I don't have air conditioning I've been leaving bottles frozen in the grow, it has helped to lower 1 or 2 degrees. fertilizers - Liquid Flowermind - class A organic residues of fruits and vegetables, urea, phosphoric acid and potassium hydroxide. - Flowermind rock blend - activated rocks rich in silicon oxide, calcium oxide, iron oxide, potassium oxide, magnesium oxide, phosphorus oxide, sodium oxide, organic carbon, chelators, immunostimulants, organic amino acids, humic acids and fulvic - Smart Roots - Magnesium: 0.001%, Magnesium Sulfate, Complexing agents: Seaweed Lesonia Nigrescens and Additive: Polysaccharides: 3% pt-BR Pragas são realmente resistentes, as duas plantas com ácaros e agora com Fungus Gnats. Luck+++ how many lumens do you put on the crown?
BrujoGarden

@Wizude,Understood. I think everything is measured this way ;) It's all for statistics for me )) We'll observe!

@Wizude,Do you cover them with clear glasses? I would cover, many do this at this stage. If you cover - then everything is fine, if not, think about it. In my opinion this will give the plant more concentration and protection for growth.

@@BrujoGarden, I saw your diary and understood how you did it with the transparent pot on top. I didn't do the same technique, I kept them open, maybe I'll do that in the next cycle and compare the results. I like the timelapse, how did you do it? I'm thinking of doing one of my grow

@Wizude,0.3 megapixel camera, takes a picture every 30 seconds! Soon I will upload my experiments on the 730+850 spectrum!!! This is more interesting))) Yes, just put the camera in the box and take a picture every 30 seconds) then in adobe programs - well, you understand) camera for $3.20

@Wizude, and further!!! Download the light meter app on your phone!!! Albeit with errors and inaccuracies = but you can literally measure the power level of the supplied light = at one point (and throughout the box) By moving the phone back and forth with the luxmeter application! Also read - how many lumens your plant needs at the vegetative stage! You minimize the risks! I see something went wrong with your plant = I think because of the lack of high humidity in the first week - just a plastic cup kept this humidity! But nothing! You seem to be swimming well.

Here's my best advice to you! You don’t need a lot of high-quality photos of the plant itself! Focus on describing and accurately using your equipment, watering levels and fertilizers! Here I saw a lot of gurus - who love to give complete and really good advice - for beginners like you and me) Describe = the distance from the lamp to the plant, the power level of your light, the number of lumens falling on the plant, the degree and frequency of watering! = And !!! By asking any question = the gurus of the site will be able to look at your report = give the correct answer! FUH)
