2 weeks old and it's my little princesses first day of school..have fun girls..i have one that runted on me, i burried her too deep after germ. I hope she wont be bullied or picked on by the older girls
A day before 3 weeks and it's time.
First pre-wet some soil for seedlings and then get a pocket formed to accept the transplant..
Then i try to get that plant unpotted with minimal damage..nice enough roots at this point, im happy..
And then back fill and gently compress sides with fingertips to make sure there are no air pockets at the bottom...that will kill roots and possibly plant..
Then rinse ur pots or wipe off..dont be a slob, and ur done..
...
I dont always water in...depends on situation. During july out behind the garage after a transplant i will likely do a water-in you know...not today. I pre-wet my transplant soil so the dry negatively charged roots go bonkers with growth if you get it right.
[ISPOILER]
The root surfaces are negatively charged after the dissociation of acidic functional groups (Meychik et al., 2005;Wu and Hendershot, 2009). The negative charge on the root surfaces of different plants varies with plant species

I wont bore you with the details lol...i think too much..im used to living in my head.
Close to 1 month, close enough.
Stiil indoors cuz of weather.
Lower branches are moving and that makes me happy. Still nowhere near clone cuts but still a good sign.
I want clones before i flower and i dont like taking the first seed plant top for cloning...so...we wait. Closer to spring with every day, when i can get out there and blow up. But for now..
...sigh
time to transplant to #2trade pots or 1.56gal actual. I just call them 2gal for ease.
because i took them bone dry again we repeat the process.
Moisten soil prior to transplant but dont go crazy.
This time there is no preforming, just plop the plant out of old and into new.
this is important step tho! You want that top perfect for when you water. Spend time getting this transplant right.
Give her the support stick and firm wire hold and send her on her way.
Well they're in there somewhere, lemme find em and drag them out
Ok week 6 and motoring along.
Still monitoring temps, i will have to move them indoors again here this weekend but we're very close to busting out of this cabin fever.
so close
Definitely seeing 2 phenos on these 6 plants for now...maybe a 3rd not sure.
Will clone and flower 2 very soon just to get something from these started.
Hopefully everyone knows that the yellowing tops is proper sign and not some deficiency....they going now!
The other 4 still in 3g in veg, and i need to make some decisions soon about what i want to do with them.
Hard to see in this pic angle but the tops are floppy cuz there's just not enough water supplied in those 3g pots to reach the top before running out. I do have a life so im not watering 2x a day. So its time to give them a new home.
But if you look at these lowers they aren't out of nutes, yet, just outpacing water.
#6 pots or 6gal. I dont carry these anymore, im dragging these monsters. what the hell did i get myself into lol. Need to get to late april reallll soon. Gah! Think ill flower 3 and do the shortest in a mound in late may/june
Wonder if that 3gal will speed up flowering with a bit of root binding 🤔 i could swear it helps.
5 in flower, 2 are ahead time wise and they look like they should.
And the runt taking her time, you do you princess
Gameday everyone
The 5gal is really loading up on yield...more than i ever expected, and has the frankincense smell. I get a wiff of ancient times smelling this every morning
The 3gal is not as happy, but that was to be expected.
I bet i can get clones to do fine in 3gal but from seed stock it looks like 5gal is bare minimum for these sat's.
The gorgeous 3 sisters growing in height. Ill try to keep them in same setting but not necessarily in the same order in the pics. Tallest is about chin high, no smells yet, they started much later than the other 2.
Family portrait. Big girl on far right is vegging princess. Happy haze harem.
