I got these rooted clones from a new business and look promising! I met the owner at an outdoor fair and seemed legit. So with me having one girl die, one girl mutate, and one girl looking and growing poorly; I thought I'd try these clones since I've never done them.
Let's see how they do!
She made it! I was nervous at first but the clone is growing now. Should be a good strain and looking forward to growth and training her. Looking to top her soon!
Didn't update this due to being busy but these girls are doing great. Topped them and letting the recover. They are branching outwards. Watering every two to three days.
Trained these girls with bending the stems at first to make the flexible, then using ties over the next few days. Watering them every two to three days.
Another good week of growth. Redid and added some ties to continue training. Watering every two to three days. Super easy going so far!
Thanks for stopping by

A good week in this tent. Girls are going well and going into flower tonight! I'm comfortable with how big they are and ready to go. Watering every 2-3 days.
First week of flower went well. Nothing major to report. I'll be redo the ties more and will do the big defoliation next week. So for now just watering every day or two.
Another good week of stretch from these girls. They look good and getting watered every two to three days. Will be doing the big defoliation and lollipop in two to three days. I'll install the scrog net at that time and level the canopy out.
Day 17 is when I do my final defoliation and lollipoping session. Taking the lower 40% off. I leveled the canopy off from the bottom. Weaved the plants through the trellis net. Watering every three to four days.
These girls are great. They responded well to the big lollipop and defoliation session that occurred last week. Getting watered every two days at this point.
Plants growing well. Not swelling up as much as I like and I figured out why. I still had my lights toned down running at 50% strength. So I bumped them to 100% and hoping for the best. Watering every day, sometimes twice.
Another good week. Watering every day. Will start pulling back on that now.
This girl looks like she'll need a full nine weeks so it'll be interesting what she ends up looking like.
Another good week in this tent. The girls are still a ways away from completing their cycle. I had to harvest one of their sisters in the tent last night. They've got a new cousin here with them in their final weeks. Watering every day with pHed water
Another good week. The girls still getting watered every day but with pH'd water only. Otherwise everything is on auto pilot. Will be chopping in the next week
The best strain I grew this run! Was delicious and has great effects. Stoney but not KO. Wish I would have kept her. Will consider buyung a clone just because she was that good
This was a interesting run. My first clones were in this run and had really high expectations for them. Honestly, they were very easy to grow and responded well to training. The frost is pretty good but the smell is very low. A little gassy but not very much smell.
@PapaNugs, Any time my friend. A blue lab pulse really helps. It is how we read the moisture content of the beds when I worked the big 200 lighter. I need to get one for the next series when we build beds lol, It would work just as good in bags too. We would read the beds in 3 separate spots then avg out the moisture content readings
@LegacyMarketFarm, 🤩🤩 thanks for the great information!! I've never heard of the water consumption to dry harvest ratio before. That's super interesting. I'll take this advice and start watering daily. I'll see if I can do more than 3 gallons. It always seems like thats more than enough water and scared to over water the girls. But I'll see what I can do.
Looks like I'll add more pH down as well. That'll help lower my pH more. I'll have to figure out how much more to drop it that low
@PapaNugs, Freaking beautiful. Now your passing into week 4 flower, Try to keep the moisture content in the bags around 40-50% full don't let them go full dry any more. The roots are finished growing week 3 and do not respond to searching out for water by drying the substrate out. At this point it is all about hitting water consumption rate numbers to yield what we wanna yield. 3 gallons in 24hrs will give you 1 dry pound of cannabis, can be 1 plant or 10 plants or 100 plants. This number was figured out when California went through a huge drought after legalization and all growers of all kinds of crops had to show exactly how much water it took to produce X amount of sellable harvest. So these numbers are pretty much bang on and will scale all the way up. 6 gallons in 24hrs will give you 2 pounds, etc. Up until week 3 flower focusing heavily on root development and getting the plants ready to consume those numbers is key. Another good trick is to drop your PH to 5.8 5.9 now at this stage, If you check out this site and look at the graph, Read the article it will help you. So essentially when your PH falls into the more acidic side of things you begin to open up more availability of phosphorus, Calcium and potassium things that the plant needs to flower more affectively. It is a good little tweak to draw out that little bit extra from your harvest we always used to do it in the 200 lighter the master grower there taught it to me.
Similarly, when the soil becomes too alkaline, phosphorus and calcium can’t be broken down which stunts the plant’s bud development. This is why I always say 6.1 is good for most all growth cycle in soil going up into the high 6's you begin to lock out these important flower nutrients even on a small scale the impact on bud production and cake is huge.

Keep up the great work. I cannot WAIT to see these enter into late flower & chop time. I am tuned in excitedly XD
