Problems: Space was limited with vegging and flowering others from the Multipack and Freebies. Two rounds of veg/flower were completed while these hunted clones in “Project Revive Clones” diary were taking a beating in tiny pots with coast of Maine starter soil, dolomite lime, recharge, azomite and gold leaf only. PH was not checked and teas were never fed in which seems to be main cause of beating. After these became transplanted to 3-5gAl pots (with old setup soil) improvements were shown. Tea feedings were stopped and gold leaf feeding increased without PH adjusters. Deficiencies started to occur again. Cold temps 68-73 occurred for one to two weeks. Purchased new heater. Some time after switched rooms. Some time after started to use current setup medium and nutrients (with top dress instead of mix in soil)
Learned:
Other two rounds of clones not shown here were vegging/flowering with weekly tea and heavy GL feeding with no deficiencies so this ultimately proves:
GL cannot be used solely as may cause PH lockout. May be possible to use ph up/down to make nutrients more available when using GL. I would never use GL on its own, rather in conjunction with weekly teas. Calmag is a must with GL. Therefore:
Everyday GL for ph/dechlorinate/containments with weekly teas.
OR
Test: Blue Planet Farmers Pride or Gaia 4-4-4 in dechlorinated water with weekly teas
