50L de sustrato preparado con:

Un muy lindo comienzo para estas nenas que se ven con ganas de crecer.
Girls have been put in 8L rootpouches at day 13.
Mycotrex aplied directly to roots and transplant pot.
Selected the biggest out of 2 for each strain.
Smaller sized girls still in 0.3L but will be changed in to 7L plastic pots at day 20.
Enjoy
Great adapting of the girls after their transplant to their new pot size.
bactrex watering definetly helps and mycotrex directly to the hole and roots
Showing lots of strength this week
Great first 2 weeks in flowering stage.
Fruit cake being the smallest of the bunch has very close internodals and big fan leafs
looking good so far.
She has stretched a bit since last week but still the smallest.
week 3 in flower mode.
Fruitcake is still the smallest of them all but lots of branches and having a good start on flower developement.
couple of fan leaves removed. before every shoot.
week 4 in flower mode.
Looks like Fruit Cake will remain the smallest of the bunch.
Flowers are developing nicely and some sugar already starting to show.
looks like no more stretching for the girls.
so i hope and expect that they start to thicken.
should be another 5 to 7 weeks to cut.
lets see what these next weeks bring
In these weeks less changes can be apreciated to the naked eye...
so during the upcoming weeks ill be doing some extra close up shots to have a look at how thos tricomes start to turn milky at first and ambar later.
Whats your favorite harvest point ?
So happy with all the girls at this stage.
Fruit cake has been getting fatter by the week...
Its quite dificult to sense a particular smell, theres a mix of all 5 strains in the air.
Fruit cake has round a 90% of its trichomes gone milky, so not much time left for those scissors...
Not a very happy last week.
On the photo end a failing flash, and dead viewfinder.
On the grow part, humidity sensor failing, with a very high humidity as a result and 2 girls with botritys.
Fruit cake is one of them and the other is TBL
Both of the top nugs had to be cut off to avoid spreading.
Now accurate humidity readings ive managed to bring it down a littlle.
have been watering this girl a little less as well, unfotunatlly another bud was affected by botritys and was cut of.
well see how she does these last weeks
These are actually shots from day 77, wasn't able to finish previous weeks shots due to back pain....
shes recovered fine in these 2 weeks. i was really afraid the botrytis would spread among all 5 plants.
final shots for fruitcake and santa marta haze, tomorrow on day 84
Final shots for fruit cake.
regardless of the botrytis that affected her, and took the main cola bud and 2 smaller ones with it. This a lovely smelling strain.
strong, compact and firm nugs. Nice structure and great potential for larger pot size and maybe lst
Definitely not a beginner strain, sensitive to humidity over 60% in flowering.
@Canna96,
Yes i place a backdrop... all oldschool photography in a new digital macro era lol....
Feel free to ask any photo related questions, im mora photographer than a grower but do love both.
@eecc_photo, Glad to hear your backs feeling better brother, when you say you have to set it as far as possible from your subject, do you mean place the plant far from the black background? Do you hang a black backdrop on a wall or something like that? I wasn't sure if it was like photoshop or an actual background. Sorry for the mini interrogation, I really enjoy photos/videos and your pics are sweet....
@Canna96,
Thanks man... backs a little better stilll some workout to be done.
To get the black backdrop you have to set it as far as possible from your subject.
and if your using more than 1 light to light your subject, try to mask out any light that gets to the background.
hope this helps.
