Misty - Mystery Auto x 1 [G2]

We have a baby! I shall call her Misty (the mystery). Day 3: Fertigated with 2l @ 16:00 Day 6: PH adjusted water 2.5l @ 14:30 Day 7: LST why? Because I can. Practice. Inability to leave them alone... one of those. Week Summary: Decent start for Misty. Not much else to say. Not as spectacular as Citronella, but then I'm starting to suspect she is a special plant. Loving the development of the little basils and chamomiles

Week 2 begins! Day 10: Here we go, the first day of big growth (proportionally). Day 12: Growth accelerating. Colour good. No deficiencies or problems observed. Day 14: Great second week. Misty is going to put on a spurt of growth over the next seven days. She's looking good. Tiny beginnings of some mild chlorosis which I will keep an eye on.

Misty has made it to her third week, just watch her take off now. I thinned out the companion plants a bit. Showing early mag deficiency, going to resume CalMag supplements. Have applied foliarly today. I've made some comparison collages and added them to my grows in various places, I will do this regularly as they really are helpful for comparing growth from week to week and from plant to plant. If you look at the collage I've added here you will see just how far ahead of Karen this girl is, then consider Karen as she is now, I am optimistic about Misty - I think she is going to impress. Day 15.5: LST. Fertigated approx 1.5l Day 17: LST. Fertigated approx 1.5l CalMag - Seaweed - Acti-Vera mix. Slightly concerned about signs of excess nitrogen in newest growth, attempting to limit/eliminate additional nitrogen in the nute mix. Day 19: Something weird is happening. Misty's first full leave are swelling at a colossal rate and are already some of the largest leaves on all my plants. What is massive leaves a precursor of? New one on me! Day 19.5: Fertigated 3l Day 20: Misty is growing well, I am going to let her gain a decent bit of height before next LST. Day 21: End of week summary. Great week for Misty. She's starting to give herself away. I think we have a possible monster on our hands.

Hey! Welcome to week four for Misty, a mystery auto from FastBuds. I update daily so go check last week which is now complete. :) Day 22: I have reconfigured the tent - see video for new config. Misty has more light now. Fertigated 2l. Day 23: I have heavily pruned the companion plants and performed some LST and defoliation (where big fan leaves block nodes, or are in the way). Pretty radical looking changes, brutal perhaps. I did it to Nesia last week and she responded very well. So let's see how Misty handles it. I have been doing increasingly tough LST since Day 7 in preparation for this brutality so she should bounce back. Day 24: See? :) Day 25: Misty had breakdrought at 0900. Fertigated approx 4l. Day 26: Trying to wait a week before further training. Day 27: Did a little gentle LST and took off 2 leaves. Didn't manage to wait a week only 4 days. Day 28: Fertigated 5l.

Week five begins! I update daily so please go check out week 4 which is now complete, and check back here in the week for updates. :) Day 29: Misty has slow release fertiliser but I keep forgetting and feeding her anyway... whoops. Day 29.5: Flushed with 30l PH & CalMag water Day 30: rearranged tent Day 31: sorry for lazy photos Day 32: Normal service resumed. Misty not getting much love 💘 in the comments ☹️. Very slightly adjusted LST. Day 33: Misty looking good. Fertigated 4l only put 1m/l of bloom and grow - calmag, rhino skin, top max, seaweed extract, ph down. Day 34: Sorry for lazy photo. Day 35: Misty is looking good. Fertigated 4l End of Week Summary: Big week for Misty although I feel maybe I did go too hard on her too early. She's still showing early Nitrogen toxicity no N being added to the fertigate. She will start stretching next week.

Hey welcome to the start of week 6. Week 5 is now complete with daily updates so check it out! Misty is still my least popular diary. I do not know why because she is awesome! Perhaps because she is a mystery strain? Day 38: stretching fast now, wish I had space to LST this girl but after latest LST on Nesia there is NO room at all except upwards. Let's hope she stays under 1.5m. 😏 Day 39: Okay I moved all but the big pots and fan out. I still don't have space to LST Misty. I will have to wait until Bertha or Karen are finished. Hopefully it wont be too late. 🙏🏼 Day 40: She's putting in around 2cm a day right now. Fertigated 4l. Height: 35cm Day 41: Misty continues to stretch. I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 42: Alright I finally managed to find a way to organise the tent to get a bit more space for Misty so I'm going to do her first major defoliation and adjust the LST. I will update again when done. Done. Photo's added. Fertigated 8l. This was a brutal training session. I was very hard on her removing a lot of foilage and performing both extreme LST and some HST. Don't worry too much Misty will rebound from this. I will need to reapply further LST in a day or two when the nodes all straighten up. I did the same thing to Nesia on day 42... however she had been continually LST'd so I was less hard on her. Let's see what happens. Last but by no means least... I am starting to wonder if Misty is actually another Amnesia Haze Auto... she's very very similar to Nesia.

She has started to recover but is going to need a few days. I was very very hard on her. Day 45: Fertigated 6l Day 46: Nothing to report. Day 47: Flower stage progressing! Day 48: Sorry for lazy photos. Day 49: Accidentally forgot day 49 is week 7 lol. Anyway... photos here now! Fertigated 5l. End of week summary: Forgot what I wrote but basically she's been overly LST and defoliated. I'm taking it easy on her now, but her flowering progress is good.

Day 54: Misty is progressing faster in flower than Nesia who is stretching like mad. Day 55: Nothing to report Day 56: Fertigated 5l End of week summary: Misty isn't doing anything special, she's quite smol and just chugging along, she has started to smell like piss.

Hey all and welcome to three weeks later. I moved house hence the lack of updates, normal services will be resumed next week. Misty has fared better than most other plants in the move and starvation/drought... maybe because of the slow release? Her buds are fat and fattening and she smells fruity. She is tiny only 50cm but I have a feeling her buds will be dense.

Well unfortunately Misty was chopped ahead of schedule because on Monday morning I found the dread BUD ROT (Botrytis) infecting one of the side colas. I discarded that cola and am drying the rest.
