During the third week of vegetation I started practicing Mainling's technique. To do this, I patched the plant at the third node and cut all the underlying shoots. โ๏ธ๐ฑ
I tied the two main branches with string to keep them down.
The plant appears to be responding well and shows no signs of excessive stress. โ๏ธ
Nice start to a manifold. I have learned from experience to leave more of the stem above the third node to account for swelling and growth of the new manifold. Leaving less leaves it a lot more vulnerable to splitting the stalk.

@Localbudz, Thank you so much my friend! I'm still practicing with this technique so thank you very much for the feed, which I will definitely keep in mind next time. Happy growing! ๐
