Cookies Gelato (Grow 36) 2.0

Bluemels Day 4: All seeds have germinated, I potted 2 today, 1 stays in the germination box until tomorrow. Day 5: I was able to pot all 3 seedlings.

Bluemels Tag 10: A week after planting is over. It went well, although not always exactly how I would have liked. But despite everything, the little girls are growing nicely. The day before yesterday, I stabilized them with sticks. It's quite windy in my little box 😆. And the stems are still pretty thin, but the leaves are already quite large, otherwise they always tip over after 8 to 10 days if I don't do anything. My box is pretty full with fans and a humidifier, all in 60cm x 60cm. It's also quite a hassle to humidify the air now in winter. I distill the water myself (it's cheaper, I've calculated it), then refill the humidifier twice a day 😅 it's quite exhausting at the beginning 😅 But what doesn't a woman do to have good cannabis in the end, despite many setbacks recently, where I was very stressed and several grows in a row (see last grow reports) have failed 😭 Tag 14: Sticks removed! Tag 15: They made it through well and have grown significantly, currently a bit slower, as I can't get the temperature any higher 😞 Tag 17: The smallest plant has moved out 😉

Bluemels Day 18: I lowered the humidity by 5%. This also makes it a bit warmer, and I have to distill less water. Day 20: And again, I sorted out a plant.

Bluemels Day 25: Transplanted into a 15L pot. Day 27: Topped at 5 nodes. Day 30: Defoliated (removed all sun leaves on the main stem) and started LST.

Bluemels Tag 32: A tiny pre-flower shows the Cookie Gelato. Tag 36: Slightly defoliated.

Bluemels Tag 39: Today I attached wooden skewers to all the side branches. I secured them with small pieces of soft wire, and the branches are additionally held down by the soft wire horizontally for now. I still need to figure out how to pull them down further to achieve optimal light yield. So, there's still a lot of patience and pondering ahead. Tag 40: The Cookie Gelato has gotten a bit too dry, it happened so quickly, I just watered her 2 days ago, before that every 3 days. The leaves are already drooping, the LST has surely contributed to that 😬 I hope she recovers. Tag 41: She's not out of the woods yet, what a bummer. The weather is so changeable again, I'm constantly trying to counteract the fluctuations, but I don't always succeed 😩

Bluemels Tag 50: I'm adding Alg a mic to the watering can for stress treatment. Tag 52: I'm starting with the scrogging, the first net is installed and the plant is tucked in.

Bluemels Tag 53: It's not going so well, the leaves have gotten so light again, I don't know. I'm feeling a bit depressed 😪

Bluemels Tag 60: The plant has become a bit greener due to the Alg a mic, but it doesn't look healthy. Not like I'm used to. I've had this issue since last year. Since then, I've only completed one grow. By day 50 at the latest, there's a massive decline. The leaves are getting lighter with small reddish stems, they don't look healthy anymore, and growth has stagnated. Now I might have had a revelation! There's a sulfur deficiency!!! Everything fits. I also think I know how. Since last year, the water supply in my house has changed so that the water comes directly from the municipal utilities. It seems to be lacking in minerals since then (that's my suspicion). In short, Epsom salt is probably the solution to fix the deficiency! I already have it and will apply it during the next watering. I'm so curious to see if it works. If it does, I plan to cut back quite a bit when the plant starts growing properly again and basically start anew on the plant's framework.

Bluemels Tag 67: The addition of Epsom salt hasn't really made a difference yet, and since new spots have appeared, I've ordered a Calmag fertilizer. But I'm still really unsure about how to proceed 😫 However, the damage indicates a sulfur deficiency. Magnesium deficiency seems to be showing up now ?😲 Tag 68: The plant has gotten a bit greener from the top 😇 The spots could also be from light burns, so I will wait with the Cal/Mag for now and just add Epsom salt and fertilizer to the watering. Tag 70: Today I finally took action and cut off the top part of the plant to give more light to the lower shoots, as it was quite dark down there. So I won't be using Epsom salt anymore as advised; instead, I'll take Cal-Mag Amino from Xpert Nutrients 2ml/L once a week due to deficiency. And I've ordered mycorrhiza powder, the one that's the fastest to deliver on Amazon 😁 just like the calmag amino fertilizer 😁 I'm curious to see if and how it progresses 😬

Bluemels Tag 75: The plant looks really bad 😱 I hope my rescue efforts will show results soon 😕 Tag 80: On advice, I bought a pH pen, etc. The pH level is at 8 😱! That's why I won't be using any Calmag nutrients anymore. I need to adjust the pH level and wait...
