Day 3 of flower
Feeding schedule is feed, water, water, feed, water, water, tea
I use RO water for top feed
Top feed started at .5 l of solution
Tea (1x weekly will be using same recipe throughout grow)
1 TBL/gal of unsulfured molasses
1TBL/ gal roots organic bloom terp tea
1.5 cups worm castings
Used clean well water
Reservoir for bottom feeding of autopots
RO water pH 6.4
.5 ml/gal Orca
1.5ml/gal silica additive
Well forgot to turn line for autopot system on after filling reservoir and didn't notice for 2 days. Due to daily top feed/watering plant flowering cycle didn't suffer much.
Well it's been painful with this strain. Definitely not a fast flowering strain indoors and thus will keep my momma for the coming outdoor season only. Trichrome heads are about 50/50 clear/glossy, probably a max of a week till harvest I'm guessing. The buds are packing on weight. There are some fan leaves showing calcium deficiency but wasn't able to see do to location on plant and table, really should of made table so could walk all the way around instead of only 3 sides, terrible setup planning, will fix during outdoor season.
I need a decent camera to take pics of trichrome development to share with you all. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Chopped all 4 plants. Trichromes we're all cloudy/some amber heads, at most 90/10. Some buds purpled over the last 2 weeks. Will post once dried and cured.
Oh man, did you check your trichomes? That looks like it could use at least a couple more weeks for development bud maturation and ripening. Those buds look great. It would be sad to harvest them before they are ready. you already put so much time in. don't get too hasty. those buds are definitely not ready. Much love though they do look great!! not trying to be a downer just trying to help you achieve optimal results.
@@Permafry, picked up a jewelers loupe magnifier and you were right. The trichome heads are just now starting to fatten up and turn glossy. Going to wait till trichrome heads are 50/50 amber. A second set of eyes is always helpful, thanks again.
@Paranoid, No worries. Those buds are gonna get way fatter then that. I'm excited for you. Those are some straight donkey dicks.
Browse a little on the Internet about what to look for when harvesting. I think this site even has some journal articles about it.
