Purple OG Punch 2023

~ 13th week ~ The plants lasted another week. Predictably, by the end of the week, most of the leaves had fallen off on their own, and i helped those that remained fall off. Can't seem to get any more out of them. All Purple OG Punch plants look amazing and unique - each one of its kind. Common features are high size and colors. They really are purple - stems, leaves, flowers, literally everything, even the resin seems to have a purple tint. On a full moon, they were cut off just above the ground and hung whole in a secluded, dark, well-ventilated room at 18°C. They will hang there until they dry - probably by the end of the month. Then i'll weigh, smoke, and review.

~ Review ~ The plants dried in the dark for over a month - at 15°C and 55% humidity. During this time, they have obtained excellent consistency and parameters without need of extra curing - ready to smoke or store. After drying, almost all green disappeared from the plants - shades of beige and red dominated and the blinding glow of trichomes. I divided each plant into two parts - better and best. The best - consisted of buds coming from the central main cola and only the top buds of the side branches. And it will be stuff for my daily use. Everything else has been turned into hashish. PPOG#2 was intended for hashish in its entirety - due to the unusually large amount of trichomes. Purple OG Punch #1 yielded a total of 95 g of goods: 40 g best quality and 55 g stuff for hash - i got 17 g of high quality hashish from this amount. Purple OG Punch #2 yielded a total of 78 g of goods: 20 g best quality and 58 g stuff for hash - i got over 25 g of high quality hashish from this amount (including stems and branches full of resin, which i unfortunately didn't weigh). Purple OG Punch #3 yielded a total of 70 g of goods: 30 g best quality and 40 g stuff for hash - i got 10 g of high quality hashish from this amount. The plants were really very easy to grow, mainly due to their enormous vitality, that even made me anxious at first. As a result of this anxiety, i cut off the top of the tallest plant to level it with the others. It was completely unnecessary, because my lamps cope well in such a situation, but since i've only had them from a recent time - i didn't think about it at once. I suspect if i hadn't pruned her, she would have produced an even better crop. All three plants were quite large at harvest - over 120 cm. And they really were purple - true to the name. This purple turned to a dark beige after drying. When smoked marijuana, the scent is like exotic floral incense. It tastes like hashish - earthy and resinous - my favorite flavor. It has a very relaxing but also inspiring effect - which i especially enjoy, because thanks to this i have more and more new cool ideas for life :) I still have two seeds of this variety left - and i'm very happy about it, because i will undoubtedly plant them soon - i liked them so much. I haven't tried hashish yet - i will only when it's aged enough, which is not sooner than in about 3 months. But i already know it's going to be excellent stuff :)
