Week 11 (05/04 - 11/04)
08/04
getting frosty by the day and she smells good
10/04
Buds are growing a bit funky, but as long as I get the nice taste/aroma
Let's see how she will do in late flower
Buds came out a bit airy and not that compact and did not yield that much. However, very tasty and pretty potent
Definitely got that white widow taste and smell, the whole house smelled when was drying it
Have been smoking this one mostly during the day and evening, got this nice euphoric high at first but still good to smoke and watch some tv
Second time growing this auto strain from seedsman, they got the taste/smell on point but still haven't found the proper plant with good bud structure
I hope that you know by now that you harvested these like four to 5 weeks too early. That's why your harvest was so bad and the buds were so airy. White widow plants are well known for being a long running cultivar.
@DoctorAutoflower, pistils and trichomes are 2 different things in this case was waiting for the plant to show more amber/orange pistils (not trichomes). Thank you for your recommendations and will keep in mind next time I grow a white widow that will need extra time to finish life cycle. I do agree every plant has its own life cycle but every gardener have different needs and plans for their garden. The trichomes was more than 20% cloudy ser but did harvest on the early side
@Wishar_Garden,
Sure, but I'm only leaving you with some wisdom for your next grow. I'm 110% sure your trichomes weren't even 20% cloudy(you called them pistils multiple times). The buds and overall plant indeed had much more to go in growth and maturity as well. Whether she finished in 8 weeks or 52 weeks the plant finishes when it finishes, especially with white widow genetics where their known to run longer than many other cultivars. Good luck in your future grows.
@DoctorAutoflower, had to cut her a bit early needed the space in the tent, the trichomes were mostly cloudy with very few amber, buds werent looking like was going to get that much fatter so decided to take her down, 13-14 weeks for an auto was already long imo. Anyways happy with the small amount I got out of her 👌
