Growing Jack Herer feminized seeds (indoors and outdoors)
As for cultivation, Jack Herer is a reasonably thick and productive plant that produces enormous buds. Make sure that the branches are supported to prevent snapping. Most Sativa plants should be controlled indoors by training or pruning a little. She is pretty rapacious when it comes to nutrients but, in return, offers impressive results under the right growing conditions.
Outdoors, Jack Herer prefers warm, dry climates such as the Mediterranean coast, where she will give outstanding results with large, productive trees. However, you would be well-advised to use a greenhouse if growing in a cooler, wetter region. In addition, she does not develop a strong odor until after harvest and good ripening, which makes Jack Herer an ally of choice in terms of discretion.
Jack Herer's genetics achieve excellent yields indoors or outdoors in the right conditions.
Flowering time
Flowering time takes between 60 and 70 days when grown indoors.
Plant height
Jack Herer seeds grow into relatively compact strains. Its height indoors is 90 to 130 cm, and typical sizes outdoors range from 130 to 180 cm.
Jack Herer feminized yield
Indoors, the maximum yield is 500 to 600 grams per m².
Yields outdoors are generally higher, with 600 to 700 grams per plant.
Effects of Jack Herer
First, the smoke is heavy and lingers in the mouth; you won't want to light yourself up a cigarette right after smoking Jack Herer. This bud is perfect for chilling with friends having a little fun. For film lovers, it's the ideal choice! The high that lasts a little is sure to keep your interest in the plot as long as the stone nails you, even seeing the time pass.
The effect is a pleasant balance between a full-bodied stone and a cerebral high, although the stone is powerful and dominant. Jack Herer will be suitable for daytime smoke to improve your mood and feel relaxed. However, the buzz won't bring on couch-lock if you need to get things done.
Despite low levels of CBD (0.8%), Jack Herer is highly rated for stress, anxiety, depression, pain, fatigue, migraine headaches, and appetite.
Side effects
Users frequently report that Jack Herer can make them feel dehydrated, particularly in the mouth and eyes. So make sure you have plenty of fluids to hand to combat this side effect.
Smell and taste
The Haze taste is excellent, a flavor that takes different paths depending on the seeds. But very often, you will find the typical Indica aromas which mingle with the sweet notes of Sativa, quite fruity, lemony with earthy and skunky undertones. In addition, you may experience sweet nuances of fruit reminiscent of sandalwood or even pine forest smells.
Jack Herer has become famous for its medicinal benefits over the years. The strain is straightforward and will produce a good yield if grown in the right conditions. Jack Herer produces copious quantities of THC, so much that you can practically see the branches glistening with the sticky resin.
Origin
Jack Herer was created in the Netherlands in the mid-1990s as a tribute to the infamous activist and author. Consisting of Haze x Shiva Skunk x Northern Lights #5 genetics, she quickly rose on the bestsellers list in Dutch coffeeshops for being a reputable and reliable medical-grade variety.
Thanks for looking.
I'm excited to see how these strains grow..
💚🌿
Germination week went well and she starts her first week in a solo cup. I think I will put her in her final pot at the end of this grow week as I only plan a 3 week veg.. no issues at the moment except the cold weather. It's taking a lot more energy then I wanted to use to maintain environment. 20c is kinda peaks during lights on . I could ramp it up but then I would need to mess with RH. It seems to be happy around 20c 70% naturally so as long as it's not hurting any of the girls we will go with it.
Plants are getting uva aswell as a dli of 14 umols in a 18hr period. .
Thanks for looking..💚🌿
Its been a nice gentle week for my Jack Herer She's is a perfect partner atm. Slowly doing her thing. She was repotted in to 11l of Ecothrive Coco lite . (70/30) it is pre loaded with Ecothrive charge

A hole was made in the shape of my solo cups and a good dusting of Living organics to establish a nice base of Trichoderma and bacterial fungal strains which upgrade your substrate.
this should give my lady all she needs for the first few weeks without having a substrate that is too hot.
I've used Ecothrive for at least 10 grows now and it is hands down the most stable consistent Coco I have found. Never needed to wash it and always perfect from the bag.
There is no point in me feeding my plant any of the Greenbuzz line just yet as there is not really a root system in place yet so to save some money etc I will just feed ph 6 water with some calmag and some more roots.
More roots is a fantastic product,it consists of different amino and humic acids, algae extract, enzymes,
vitamins and essential oils from exotic plants. More Roots is free of chemical additives
of any kind, which makes it 100% pure organic power – for naturally grown plants!
This is what I use to keep my Coco wet and give the roots some moisture to grow into. Until we have a root system to feed I will continue to foliar feed them with Fast plant spray.. This golden nectar is a very low dose npk feed (around EC 0.4) .
Fast Plant Spray consists of organic mineral salts like phosphorus, calcium and magnesium.
It also contains selected humic and amino acids, beneficial algae and essential oils from exotic fruits.
Fast Plant Spray gives you more for your money than other spray solutions available.
So that's how were rolling. Photons are being fed around 350umols with added uva. 30 minutes of far red also as main lights go off. Trying for Emerson effect...
That's all for this week. Not much to talk about as nothing has really happened.. I plan to go full nuts and start to water to 20% runoff sometime this week. This always scares me as for the first few days plants look shit but after a week they should be hugemongus....
Thanks for stopping
Grow well.🌿💚🚀

Fast Plant Spray has no chemical additives!
It is 100% natural organic power – for a better, greener world.
A good week with nothing to report. She having 0.8ec feeds of grow which is a 4-2-6 NPK . I am in Coco so she gets fed this low dose every day . I make sure her substrate is always balanced in and out and will correct if needed..
She is a pretty thing and is gonna be a big girl. I think I will top her this week.. she's strong enough now and is feeding well from a well established root zone. This week she will also get a top dress of living organics. I try to do this every 2 weeks .
That's all for now thanks for stopping by..
Stay safe .
Grow well 🌿💚🌿🙏🏼
It's been a relaxed week. No stresses to report. She's topped last week and recovered fine. Upped her grow as I will be putting her onto a 12/12 this week..
I just want to take a minute to sing the praises of Greenbuzz nutrients. Thanks GBN.. your products make growing so easy and a pleasure to use.. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Photons increased the 400 umols.
Let's flower.🙏🏼💚
A good week and the stretch is underway.
No dramas. She gets higher. Not any need to drain her as she grows in a good shape for now
She is closest to my dehumidifier Andi can see a few of her leaves are suffering from the drier air and have curled in. It's not big drama apart from making my beautiful plant look ugly..
I shall increase plant rotation so she will not have to suffer . Also I moved the dehumidifier as far away as it will go
Added some bloom to the mix and upped the grow to get her powered through stretch
Photons increased to 600 umols. The great thing here was as the plants have grown I had to turn my lights down . Were running at 40% and about 15inches from canopy.. woop...
Thanks for looking.
Stay safe
Grow well 🌿🙏🏼🌿💚
Jack had a bit of a lowers clear up as she is growing very tall. I will start to bend her if need be as she is about 10cm off from where I want the stretch to stop .
Changed around feeds. Removed more roots and fast buds from her schedule. Now we give 3ml per L of big fruits.. and we have upped the ratios of bloom and lowered the grow. EC is still 1.3 to 1.4 but favouring a higher ratio of p and k. Next week she will get some More PK as a boost for as she make ls flowers
Thanks for passing by.
Stay well. Grow some monsters.
Have the day you deserve.🌿🙏🏼💜💚
Jack got too tall so I snapped her two mains down into a 90 degree HST fracture. Should get a nice knuckle to take the weight and now the canopy is even.
Feeds are up to 1.8ec grow is removed and more pk added this week.
Getting our first flowers so will deploy the UVB this week.
Thanks.
Hello..
Jack I'd huge. 1.2m and flowering is underway. The stretch is good. Feeding is going in around 1.8 to 1.9ec. made up from greenbuzz nutrients bloom and more pk. An amazing ratio for my girls and buffers ph perfectly to a 6.2.
Only issue is the space I have is making it hard to do pics. Soon I will not be able to move them out to photograph which is rubbish.
Lights are running still at 40% drawing about 180w. I will be raising the light a bit soon as I need more spread so will upp the dimmer to give me an average of 850umols.
That's all for this week. No dramas just massive growth.
Oh I did not start the uvb yet as I was away and did not want my wife to go in the room without realising the uvb was on .
Jack is doing great she is super healthy no issues at all. Flower is in full swing and there are some lovely bud sites forming up. Her trading has left her in a funny shape which was needed for the space she had. A serious set of supercropping happened 3 weeks ago where her mains were snapped 90 degrees and pinned to level her canopy. When I do this kind of training I will always foliar feed the leaf on the snapped branch with fastplant spray. I do this as often I will have severed the capillary connection or at least reduced it's efficiency. So giving low dose npk to the leaf means she recovers with Les loss.
Feeding is drifting between 1.8 to a 2ec. She shows no signs of overfeeding really. The odd tip just starting to show.. but if I go higher I will have to increase ppfd also and I'm happy where we are for now.
I am giving her 2ml per litre of more pk atm. This is a 4-7-10 phosphorus and potassium flower booster. It is an amazing product and in combo with the bloom at 3ml per litre makes the perfect feed for ambient co2 growing at 850umol/m2/s ppfd.
I think I have found my sweet spot. Power draw from lamps is now at 55% and 205w as I raised the array for better photon distribution.
UVB isn now running at two 1hr sessions through the lights on period it's a 21w tube
some info about the UVB and its effects on the UVR8 protein.
Only Flower Power produces high levels of 280-300nm UVB. You can see the spectrum yourself on the lamp page. This might not seem like a big deal to those unfamiliar, but the most important trigger for cannabis is the UVR8 protein, a protein common to many plants and acts as a chemical messenger to tell the plant it is in high UVB and should react accordingly. In the case of cannabis, this means to jump up protection of THC, which the plant uses as sun block.
It is supposed to increase THC.. other benefits are the anti fungal properties of UVB and the pest control it also helps with. Contact with UVB will kill most bugs..
So all in all a good week. No space to move her out really so pics may be just bud shots from now
Thanks for looking.
Grow well 🌿💚🌿🙏🏼
Not much has happened this week. Apart from I have run out of big fruits. This is a flower booster I have come to rely on for nice dense frosty buds. I hope to get some more soon..
Her shape is odd as I trained her to fit the space I have. So she is wide and thin and tall. I love her..
Buds are not the dense as I would like but great shape and looks like node will join the bud to create some rockets..🤞🏼🤞🏼
Feeds still at 1.8. last week for more pk for her then we go to just bloom.
And hopefully some big fruits later in the week..
Oh uvb runs twice a day for an hour per cycle. X bars are at 55% giving me an average ppfd of 1005umols
Thanks for passing..
Grow well 🌿💚🌿🙏🏼🌿
A good week with no news to report. Very sativa like growth and buds...
EC dropped to 1.6 and more pk removed from the diet. Just greenbuzz nutrients organic bloom now.
Lights are at 60% and 1100umols average across the canopy.
Life is good
Grow well 🌿💚🌿🙏🏼
Another uneventful week.
Buds are stacking up and there's lots of it.
I was not sure when I trained her in this shape if it would work but turns out tall long and thin canopies work also.
Feeds are down to 1.4-1.5ec on bloom. Another 14 days I think...
Thanks for looking.
Grow well 🌿💚🌿🙏🏼
Greenbuzz were kind enough to send me out a top up package as I ran low on some key items. Happy to say big fruits are back for the last 10 days of this girls life.
She's been a pleasure to grow with no crazy requests for me. A champ..
Feeds are still 1.4ec.
Thanks for looking.
Grow well 🌿💚🌿🙏🏼
