Day 7: 1/26- Moved into DWC last night. Looks to be doing good today. Got the water level right at the bottom of 8 inch net pot. This is about 17 gallons of water. I will be watching closely for roots this week and eventually lower the water to just below the bottom of net pot.
Day 8: 1/27- Spotted a root nearing the edge of the net pot. Lowered the water to below the bottom of the net pot.
Lights: Lowered the lights to 18 inch height and turned them up to 70%
Exhaust: 6 inch Vivosun fan with 6 inch carbon filter attached directly to it. Exhaust ducting runs out of the top of tent and to an unused dryer vent. Currently set at about 70% power and to cycle for 3 minutes on and 7 minutes off, when the lights are on. It cycles unitl 30 minutes after the lights are off. Turns back on when lights come on.
Intake: 4 inch Vivosun fan pulling through carbon filter, on the outside of tent. Currently set to 100% power and to cycle for 3 minutes on and 7 minutes off, when the lights are on. It cycles unitl 30 minutes after the lights are off. Turns back on when lights come on.
Air movement: AC Infinity Cloudray S6

Chiller: JBJ Arctica 1/10 HP set at 68⁰F

gasses dissolve almost immediately... the content in the water will reach equilibrium with the sorrounding air (in this case a many bubbles + surface contact with air) very quicly. if you ever go with a sepaate reservoi style, go with agitation > bubbles.. it's far more effective for larger volumes... ask any aquarium owner.
i would wager you don't need more for oxygen-related concerns, but if it helps agitate and otherwise avoid a stagnating bucket of water with some filler, then go for it.... if it circulates / shifts around enough as-is then it won't help much.
Spotted some brown spots on 2 of the older fan leaves today. Any thoughts on what the issue may be?
Does not rub off- was worried about rust at first.
Some more info that could be helpful is that I am using RO water. Thinking about rasing the lights a little higher up too.
è una piccola carenza di calcio,con l'acqua che usi puo capitare basta aumentare un po' la dose di calmagic e non dovrebbe proseguire ,aumentalo di poco e per un periodo limitato poi torna a dosi normali
