Well, the name of the game went from thrive to survive these past 2 weeks. I got called away for a work trip and my girlfriend was only able to come and water once a week so these girls only got water once every 5 days. The hulkberry struggled the most with this and she’s the most thirsty, and when I got my first update pic I thought she was dead so many of her leaves were shriveled up and brown. But she recovered but you can still clearly see the scars of underwatering. The buds are looking fantastic despite this, they smell fruity and dank up close and are extraordinarily sticky. The other 2 plants handled the lack of consistent watering better and experienced drooping but are back to normal. My question is, do I defoliate the remainder of the yellow-brown leaves on the hulkberry, or are they still functioning and not harming the plant?

Should I defoliate the remaining primarily yellow-brown, water stress damaged leaves on the hulkberry, or are they functioning and contributing to the growth of the plant and not harming it?

Believe it or not they are contributing to photosynthesis. The green parts at least. What I like to do is just take my snips and clip off the burnt edges. Hope this helps.
