Started the seeds by soaking in Distilled water for 12 hours. After that, directly into the soil which is a Promix HP and Worm Castings mix. Seeds we’re planted on different days as I discovered the others I had started weren’t going anywhere…
First seed Day 1 was Jan 8, the Second and Third seed sprouted Jan 12. Keeping the RH as high as it can be, and temps consistent with a 24 hour light cycle. Misting the plant with distilled water very sparingly, trying not to overwater and let the humidity keep the plant going. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️
A good week of growth for the 🌱. No issues, just trying to keep the RH high and not overwater them. I’ve been using a spray bottle twice a day, trying to keep the top soil moist , but not wet. Happy Gardening 👊🇨🇦❤️
Seedlings are doing well! The 1 that is about 4 days older is showing good growth. I’ve been able to keep the humidity high enough and haven’t overwatered them yet! They are getting about a cup of water, starting with the outside rim and working my way in. This is about every third day or so. Not much else, it’s been an easy week. Happy Gardening 👊🇨🇦❤️
Gorilla Cookies are doing great, they are stacking very nicely. I am liking the nose spacing on these girls so far.
Introduced some more of the Bonnie nutrients from Cronk not too much though, this is a potent nutrient mix and I would recommend using 1/4 of what they say to start with and see how the plant responds.
RH and temps have been consistent, trying to make them comfortable as to get a week or two more of veg before they flower. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️
Started some LST early in the week for the slightly older plant, then later in the week with the other two. I was going to let them go Christmas tree style, but I can tell already they will out stretch the others. Ended up just bending the top and tying with pant ties. This should promote some busier plants.
Still figuring out the Correct Cronk Dosage, it’s pretty strong stuff, just trying to find the balance. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️
The girls have blown up with their flower stretch. Despite the good growth, all the buds are still staying tight, and should be some decent nugs. I’m glad they got some reasonable growth before the flower
Change happened, there could be as many as 5 more weeks of flower left for these buds to fatten up 😎
Added some more Clyde to the feeding regiment. They seem to be doing well, but could probably use a bit more phosphorus and potassium, but are showing leaf burn… I’ll keep an eye on that. RH was brought down to between 54-56 %, and temps are steady between 77-79 degrees at lights on, and 69-70 degrees lights off.
I continued with some LST of bending the top down and tying to the pot. They responded well. I don’t want to do a whole lot, just try to keep the canopy semi even. No defoliation yet, possibly next week. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️
The girls are looking better and better each day. They have finished whatever stretch they had begun, and are now stacking some very decent buds 😊
They are showing some phosphorus deficiencies, but at the same time are showing that they are getting some nutrient burn 🤔🧐 I’m used to making one solution to feed, and that seems very difficult to balance with some of these Auto’s, as I have had to adjust for these girls and not my others, anywho, the joys of Autoflower’s ❤️ Only a few weeks left, hopefully we’ll get through it as they are looking promising at this point. The Gorilla Cookies are still doing alright, but 2 of 3 are showing some lockout or deficiencies. Despite this they are still doing ok. The one that doesn’t have this issue is doing great, getting fat and greasy! They are starting to stink up my house, had to turn the fan off Auto and just keep it running non stop otherwise my entire house smells like the good good 😊
I’m not super concerned, I checked the runoff, and it wasn’t too out of wack, 6.4 ph… the leaves look like they are having some serious P and K deficiencies, but I don’t want to feed anymore as we are approaching the end of their cycle fast, and they are continuing to develop, just not as good as they could have.
RH was lowered, and temps have been consistent 77-79 degrees. Watering now approx. 3 litres every 4-5 days but I expect this to slow down soon. Happy Gardening 👊🇨🇦❤️🌱
This was the girls last week of growth. 2/3 showed some serious leaf issues, lockout or PH issues, but didn’t seem to affect them enough as they continued to grow and fatten up.
Easy week this week, tried to keep the temps low as to not volatize all the terps with high heat. RH was kept to around 50% . Straight Ph’d water for the last two weeks and some good trichome Development, mostly milky now. Harvest to come, Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️
I’ve just had two joints from this harvest before they finish curing, but I am impressed. The terps are strong, a wave of citrus, pine, earth and florals as you open the jar, but are incredible when broken up. The smoke is potent, but not overwhelming, for me, it would a good daytime smoke. When smoking as a joint, it burns evenly, and creates some serious resin as the joint burns down. I’m leaving these jars for two weeks to cure before I dip into them, and will return with a full smoke report.
I had a nice 10 day dry at about 65 degrees and 60% humidity. I’ve got most of it in a 1 gallon jar, and it’s holding steady at 59% without humidity packs. 239 grams of dried trimmed bud, a little over an ounce of trim and about 2.5 grams of kief was collected.
10 weeks from seed to harvest. The nutrient line I was using didn’t give me optimal growth, for this strain and my level of experience. Had some great growth and veg time, about 4 weeks, but when flower kicked in they got beastly. I would say I had two different phenos of this strain, and the one pheno that is unique, had slightly looser buds than the other two. This could be because of the LST/super cropping of the main cola. The other two had nice rock hard frosty buds and have similar smells and profile. The other one has more citrus, and was a bit lanky, more sativa in looks. Overall, easy enough to grow, no major surprises, and decent enough yield for 10 weeks. This is a strain that could have been better had I not had some issues with either lockout/deficiencies.
